I dont understand, it wouldn't be too bad if it just defaulted to sprites that actually exist but I just had to go through my dex to manually select the spirites i added from the pack out of desperation. kind of defeats the purpose of downloading to see nothing while actually playing,

➡️ IF you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

--- Your game is fine and working properly.

----- the game can only download a limited number of sprites per time unit while playing before going on cooldown, you simply hit the maximum for now.

----- check you have your "download data" option enabled.

➡️ IF you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:

--- Your game is not fine nor working properly.

----- This is likely the result of you messing with files, either to cheat or try to "fix" stuff. OR you have "download data" turned off in options.

step 1. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
step 2. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses > advanced > other > reset > reset sprite cache & reset alt selection
step 3. If that did not fix it: do a full reinstall.

➡️ IF you for some reason still do not believe your game is working properly:

step 1. delete your whole install
step 2. reinstall following our guide in downloads
step 3. go to a pokecenter
step 4. talk to the man in the black suit with sunglasses > advanced > other > reset > reset sprite cache
step 5. with the same man: advanced > other > reset > reset alt selection

🔴 After following the applicable steps your sprites are working. If you encounter missing sprites it is simply because of the sprite download cooldown. Keep playing and sprites will show up.

this is a little frustrating I only added the pack because nothing had sprites on base game. so just to make sure i don't waste more time. the advise here is to just revert to base and I have to wait? how long are these time units and cashe resets? cause i didn't even have starters loading and past that only a few early route poke's had anything on optional or otherwise. I cant imagine the intended experience is to have 5 or less sprites function within your first 30 min of play.

everything on our end is working fine, files and servers included. I personally actively monitor it.
"waiting" will do nothing. Hence the wording "playing" - there need to be active triggers.

check above what is applicable to you, do those things, thats all we can do.

I don't think anyone is questioning the server quality it is just frustrating due to some counter intuitive bits here and there. Like when the game says it downloads as you play you imagine that when you encounter manky it would download him. Then when it's blank you go, "well it probably loaded during the fight I bet the next one will load " then you go an hour without seeing him and several others.

This makes you feel something must be wrong with your particular instal cause no where does it say "these 'live updating' sprites go on cool down' makes since there are repeat questions.

there was an issue with the server about a month ago, which reset the download of all sprites for all active games, making the cap more obvious

Hey @timber flicker! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Hello, I’m going through the game on a hard non randomized playthrough. Im going through the part of the game after the celadon sewer puzzle, the team rocket entrance. I cant go through the lift without the key, and if I try going through the left or right entrance, my character will just run into the wall, and the screen wont move to the next part of the game. I havent cheated at all to my knowledge lol. I can send my save file as well

Trying to have all npc trainers random, story battles etc random too, but have gym leaders not randomized at all. When turning gym leaders randomness off, theyre still totally random. Turning it on and keeping the main type(rock for pewter, etc) does stay consistent at least

Hey @lavish obsidian! To Speed Up your game, hold Q (or Spacebar if you are using Game-performance).
You can change the settings in game to be hold or toggle, see the image below!

• When set to Hold, the speed multiplier can be set up to x10
• When set to Toggle, the speed will cycle through x1, x2, and x3

Hey @glacial mural! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Hi, so recently I installed the game on my phone and tried to follow the guide but, When I want to save my settings it doesn't work, I still tried to create a new save file and everything seems to work but the game wants to open your discord in my web browser. The problem is that the game stops working after it tries to open the browser. So basically I'm stuck.
(Edit: I bypass the browser opening by responding to the message "how I discovered the game" by saying with discord, so it doesn't open the browser and crash the game. I can now save and play normally.
By the way I'm playing on Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 pro )

sorry, no, usually it downloads the sprites from the internet. Did you choose "no" when asked if you wanted to automatically load the sprites when you made the game and perhaps that's what is going on?

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

It actually forces iteslf to match the setting for Sprite Categories. Normal = Off and Anything = On. This is technically a visual bug (it loads the wrong display setting) but closing the options menu will save the wrong setting.

If you flick autogen dex entries off manually before you close the settings menu every time, it'll stay off. Or vice versa for switching it on (if Sprite Categories is set to Normal)

sprites are saved to the installation folder not the save file so just moving the save file wont move all the sprites that had been downloaded. they will eventually download again as you play, or you can look into moving the sprite files manually

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Hi, I have two bugs to report.

1. The shiny I received from Wondertrade (lucky me) is not showing shiny colors, only regular. It shows a red star and plays the shiny animation when sent out. Reversing it made no difference. I cannot unfuse it as I don't have access to Violet City yet.

2. Different save. I got to Viridian Gym after clearing Ember and Giovanni is just not in there... Maybe because I beat Chuck in Sevii first? What's worse, since I technically have eight badges, the gate guy let me through. Even though Chuck's badge is not even showing on my trainer card...

make sure download data is on.

the game automatically downloads sprites - but is limited to a couple sprites per time-unit.
I expect you are simply running into the download cooldown

I'll tell it again then, I downloaded the game from a fake website, did a virus scan with avast mobile free after launching the "game" via joyplay and avast said everything is good.
Should it be safe, or should I wipe my phone clean ?

(it's the one that ends in .net in searchs)

The thing is, the actual files that were dowloaded seem legit (just seems weird to me that it is in a github solution), and didn't do anything I could directly see

(Plus the game actually gave me the warning message of there's no official website)

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion
