How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

Hey @whole valley! Magic Boots are an IN GAME reward for catching all unfused 501 Pokemon in a non-randomized file (Dex number 1-501). After doing so, the Developer in Celadon will reward you with them. Putting them on will unlock DEBUG options that you can play with.

If you're encountering missing sprites

**If you just updated to 6.6, do the reset cache steps mentioned in this #announcements message post.
**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as missing.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

Hey, does anyone know why I am getting the following visual bugs? The game has been working flawlessly for the last few days but today the issues started.

Any new pokemon I encounter that I haven't yet seen is showing as the big white "?", I assume "missing sprite icon". If I catch the pokemon, and then browse to the "sprites" tab, all the sprites are visible. After selecting one, the pokemon has its sprite for all future encounters.

I have tried clearing the sprite cache via the reset man as I found suggested via search, but it hasn't solved it.

The second issue is the other image, which are the trees at the top of Zone 2 of the Safari zone. They were fine previously, but now they display broken as shown. I am not sure if these two errors are related.

Okay did a bit more searching... I swear different results come up on mobile compared to desktop lol. Maybe the sprite issue is just the download limit? But this has been happening all day (even after I stopped playing for a few hours) so I'm not sure.

Actually come to think of it, I did get an error recently. I think yesterday? It was after a pokemon evolved but unfortunately I can't remember which one. What I do recall is I went into the alt sprite menu just to check out the alt sprites and an error popped up. The game didn't close or anything so I jsut dismissed it and carried on. There was no missing or broken sprites or graphics at the time so I assumed nothing permanently had gone wrong ,but maybe it was related?

Actually on second thought I don't think my sprite issue can be download limit because even base pokemon sprites are showing as ? and those presumably wouldn't need to be downloaded during gameplay, but I guess I can't be sure. I downloaded one of the sprite packs to see and it seems they're only fusion sprites tho, so that seems to make sense.

Its almost like the game isn't pre-selecting sprites anymore and thats why theyre '?' until I look at the sprite menu and choose for myself 🤔

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

If you're encountering missing sprites

**If you just updated to 6.6, do the reset cache steps mentioned in this #announcements message post.
**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as missing.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.

If you're encountering missing sprites

**If you just updated to 6.6, do the reset cache steps mentioned in this #announcements message post.
**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as missing.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

nothing we can do to fix that, saves rarely get corrupted on their own though

the most common reason for possible save corruption would be your game files being touched by OneDrive or another cloudsync program

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock
3. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

obviously nothing can be done to stop acts of god [i.e., storms] from knocking out the power for your device

hello, i have multiple problems with the current release of the game.

1: the game freezes for multiple seconds every time a new pokemon sprite is entering the battle.
2: the game freezes for multiple seconds every time i want to fuse/unfuse pokemons.
3: most of the time i can't skip the intro cinematic and when i can, the game freezes for multiple seconds when entering the 'fusion' screen or whatever it's called.

my specs are: I9-9900ks, RTX 2080ti, 32 gb RAM and the game is on my ssd with a fresh install, so no updates or anything.

i played this mod about a year and a half ago i think and had none of these issues and figuring that it is somehow related to the sprites, is there a way to download them all like before?

back then there was a 'browser' option where you could pre-download all custom sprites and stuff and looking through some of the 'bot' guides here it says that they come pre-installed which i don't think can be true when i still have to enable the download option in the menu which i have enabled.

any help will be appreciated since the game is great but more or less unplayable as of right now.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads

Hello! I wanted to change my Minior/Jangmo-o fusion to the much-cooler Shields Down sprite, but the sprite isn’t showing up in the game. It said that it was imported, but it’s still not appearing as an option to change it. I imported the sprite through the “sprites to import” folder and got the message that sprites were imported, but it’s not showing up in game. Is there any way to fix it? Or did I do something wrong?

Hey I updated to the newest version for mobile the and somehow there are missing some sprites that I choose for my pokemon

That was it! I downloaded them straight from the server and imported them. The sprite was named 499.471. I checked the Infinity Dex website and Minior’s dex number is 498, not 499. I changed the file to 498.471 and it worked! Thanks for the help!

Git has locked your game folder from installing/updating. To fix:

1. Open your game folder.
2. Enable the setting to view hidden files. Screenshot below shows how to see that.
3. Open the .git folder you will see in your folder now
4. Delete the file named shallow.lock
5. Update Again by double clicking on INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat or using the Launcher to Install/Update

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads
2. Open the settings tab
3. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

If you play on PC don't switch anything to mobile🙏 and the other way round
