This is the second time I've seem something like this. Remix mode, second trainer on Nugget Bridge. Stuffth isn't loading a sprite. I have it set to download sprites as needed, but I'm starting to think I need to work out how to grab a sprite pack.

For my next playthrough I chose Remix mode, but when I loaded into the game it had somehow changed to classic. I restarted several times and even deleted and reinstalled the game, but nothing seemed to work. Is this a common issue, or should I report this as a bug?

I can’t go through this doorway on mt silver without crashing. My sprites aren't getting selected automatically. The pokemon will be completely invisible but there are no 'empty' spots in the pokedex sprite selection so the sprites do exist in the game files but won't show up automatically in battle the first time I see a fusion, I have to find it in my pokedex after the fact and select a sprite for it. Clearing the sprite cache as suggested in the announcement post doesn't fix the issue, restarting the game while connected to the internet doesn't really do anything either, my sprites are set to auto-update.

I honestly don't know where to say this. I have this problem with blank custom sprites on my game (PC 6.6.2). I don't mind it much because I have imported sprites ready to replace some of the blank ones, but I don't really have a solution for some of the non-fusion pokemon sprites. If you're encountering missing sprites

**If you just updated to 6.6, do the reset cache steps mentioned in this #announcements message post.
**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as missing.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

Well either way. Thank you. I guess I should've known since my wifi connection is becoming slower and slower (especially downstairs). Some of my sprites are actually coming back though (non-fused. the fusion ones are still a LITTLE problem but like I said is no problem because of imported sprites from downloaded sprite packs.).

fixing the game seems to make copies of some of my quests

i've tested it multiple times, and i have 4 copies of playing cupid, for whom the bell tolls and hardboiled

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

After doing all the steps, use #downloads to download the real files.

How to get Mimikyu to spawn:

1. You have to leave the room and come back for it to reset
2. **IMPORTANT ** Before playing the piano, use the Image below. These are the Register points for each room. Make sure to walk over those squares facing those directions multiple times for the puzzle to recognize you "Been" to each room. This is the reason for it to not spawn correctly.
3. Play the piano and interact with the doll. It will say "This wasn't here before" and should be in a different location now. Move to the room the doll is in and interact with it.
4. Repeat these steps until the doll is on top of the piano.
5. Talk to the doll on the piano and that is when you get the "Run away" sound cue. This means if you go to the entrance room, Mimikyu will be there.

-** IF THE DOLL GETS STUCK**, repeat step 1 to reset the room and try it again. Step 2 is important for the doll to not get stuck.

having downloads in onedrive is an interesting choice too.

try to see what happens if you go to the settings and reset the config.

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock
3. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

But I got the problem that the sprites of certain Pokemon show up as a big black and white question mark. I have read that it might be related to the fact that the game can no longer download the sprites on its own? And that I have to do it manually to fix this, so I did download the newest version of the game now through discord and it seems to have worked for some of them but not all of the sprites. Is there any other reason for this or any other way to maybe fix it?

And the second question I have, is there is a certain way that i have to download specefic custom sprites for fusions to get them? Bc I seem to not have them all? I think

If you're encountering missing sprites

**If you just updated to 6.6, do the reset cache steps mentioned in this #announcements message post.
**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as missing.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

For the basesprites you would need to also import another folder, but you can import them all

(Though after importing you might need to start a new save and get the pokédex on that save)

Download the full spritepacks, then go into the Other/Basesprites folder, delete the 0.png file and the 96x96 folder, then put them in the sprites to import folder

If you're encountering missing sprites

**If you just updated to 6.6, do the reset cache steps mentioned in this #announcements message post.
**The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, up until the February 2025 Pack.
The remaining packs will be downloaded as you play, as long as you have "Download Data" turned on and your device is connected to wifi. You do not need to do anything for them.

Keep in mind, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity and will not trigger if you are not actively encountering new sprites (ex; battling, checking the Pokedex, etc.).
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit. We cannot adjust this limit and there is nothing you can do as the player to skip it or make it go faster.

The first time you encounter a base Pokemon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasn't been downloaded yet, it will show as missing.
The same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. To keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Note: Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Hai, i've donwloaded the 6.62 update, and when i opened the game With the game.exe , they asked me tò download the new sprites i've said yes.
But there's a problem: most of the sprites are vanished and i have the base sprite

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

i've been having this odd issue where i randomize all things except items, and put on prefused and custome sprites, and the game runs fine, it also runs fine when i load up a save, but when a start a new game, wwhenever it gets to the part where it says "randomizing wild encounters this may take a while" it seems to freeze cuz i've had it on that screen for 30-40 min and it doesn't progress, when on my pc, even even 1 time on my laptop, it took maybe 10 min or less with the same settings.

is it possible there's a glitch or something?

Hey @molten dagger! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

Infinite Fusion is NOT a rom, it is a fangame! Read below for more info on the differences.

Hey guys, I'm new to PIF and I keep getting long freezes when I try and interact with my pokedex or computer or loading into a fight or entering a building, when trying to cycle through the pokemon in the pokedex or organize my boxes. I have already looked on reddit and other websites/forums and cant seem to find a fix that worked. I did find a video trying to allow the game through Data Execution Preventable thing but my pc says I can't change 64-bit programs.
