How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
4. If your save slot was A, double click the File A folder
5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed
   Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter instead on step 6.

The download speed limit isnt imposed as hashly as people think.
it is just that people dont realize a download is a connection with something else.

so downloading at speeds from say google, has nothing to do with download speeds from mediafire. Yes they cap, but nothing unreasonable.

in those cases its a matter of a bad geolocation connection to mediafire instead, we think

some empirical evidence for what it is worth.

reinstalling wont do anything. the issue is a corrupt save. saves are not stored with the game files.

again the fix is:

• replace the corrupt save with a backup. if it still gives the error, go back another backup.
• delete the corrupt save entirely.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

So I am on Windows 11 and I just updated to launcher 1.1 and game 6.5 through the launcher. When I try launching the game, the game stutters horribly, with the picture flashing to black and back, and slows everything down (hitting alt-tab would only switch programs after 15 seconds or so). Switching users and logging back in solves the stuttering but removes all audio.

I deleted my folder and did a clean install and the problem still persists.

I don’t think that was changed at all. The code for fullscreen seems to be not optimized and strains graphics cards. Could be good to make sure your graphics driver is up to date though and have restarted your computer to restart any long outstanding processes

Those are the right versions, but for some reason your phone doesn’t like the installation of them. Only thing I can recommend is use settings to uninstall them both and try again

it is your connection to mediafire.
a download is a connection to something else, not just your own internet.

think of it like playing a game in europe, on american servers. regardless of how good your internet is, if you are far away from the servers the experience will be suboptimal.

Your errors have been directly with joiplay and rpg maker itself. They aren’t additional plugins, they are built into it. What phone model are you using?

We use an older version of joiplay and rpg maker because it is more stable.

If you use a newer version the game crashes more but might fix your issue.

Alright, I shut down my computer last night after a small amount of the update was downloaded so I could try again today. But when I tried running the update bat file again, terminal deleted a bunch of custom battler sprites and things in a list.

ok so the issue is your specific phone model is not giving access to the game to get your save directories. That isn't something we can solve because this is related to your specific phone model

so it is trying to get the location of your saves and backup folder but it can't so it throws an error

no, the game only has 1 randomized data file. so it will use it across all saves if randomized.

only way to do 2 different randomized runs would be to have multiple sets of game files

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon. If you have more options, reshuffle each.

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
4. If your save slot was A, double click the File A folder
5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed
   Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter instead on step 6.
