i think this is a glitch but i can tell the wild pokemon are scaling to my level so the glitch is when i encounter a lvl 39 chimchar, i catch it with an ultra ball then it immediatly evolves in my party are i catch it and its level resets to 30

someone actually found that if you go to a map with the 1st tile of the map, you get a specific pokemon.
If you step 1 square down and enter, you get different set of pokemon.
So you can imagine how hard it was to find the reason for that bug lol
literally 1 square difference can cause a weird bug in this game, so we've seen a lot of weird issues that dont make sense lol

Evolutions don't necessarily have the same abilities. For example, Meowth can have Pickup but Persian can't, it has Limber instead

So I finally got the game running and have played for about 6 hours already but I have tried to find solutions for this, the game has for the entire time ran like crap, like 20 seconds load times between entering battle and leaving places. So far the only fixes have been using game-performance.exe or turning off your internet

To Fix:

you are mashing through the part where the game asks where you downloaded from. it defaults to fake site so it will auto close your game and direct you here. if you didnt download from a fake site stop mashing and read

okay so I restarted randomized runs using a bunch of different settings and no matter what i did it always did not randomize the wild encounters. but i decided to try the man in black in the pokecenter and had him resuffle them and now it's working it seems. this is all in the most recent version, i literally updated the game like an hour ago. might be a bug.
