it shows encounters from pokemon pool 1, the same encounter you get when randomly walking into grass.
if you trigger a fight from shaking grass that is pokemon pool 2.

normally these are near identical, so you dont notice it.
in randomizer based on your settings these 2 pools can be different.

hello, since updating the launcher to version 1.0.2 I've been getting this error that crashes the game before it can launch. Reinstalling both the game and the launcher doesn't clear the issue, and rolling back the launcher to 1.0.1 also doesn't fix it, which makes me think theres a bad file cached somewhere. Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Megaman, please re read what I stated again, as it is not an issue with my computer but the game itself, if I was playing on windows I would probably encounter the same error, in this situation you are trying to be a know it all about a subject you frankly don't know much about. Linux is not like windows, one os does not account to another, but errors like the one i encountered are not really something that happens bcs of wine (in this case soda). It is probably a memory leak or something similar, but hey maybe it is a wine specific issue, in that case at least state that crashes such as that are possible in x situations (I encountered a similar error earlier but the game just froze for a second and then continued as if nothing happened, but its always been in a battle between attacks)

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter because you are playing on a platform the game is not meant to be played on. It is only developed and "optimized" for Windows. Doesn't matter if it is a wine issue, your distro, or anything. Because this is a windows game. We can only tell you how to solve it the way it is solved on Windows. If it doesn't work for your device, which this specific error is for pcs that are struggling, we cannot do anything for you. Also the fact that you encountered other areas that are freezing is just another point to your computer struggling although I already know you are going to say "it is not my computer that is the issue". It is your computer because you are playing it on a device it isn't meant to be played on.

That is like blaming Skyrim that the game is running slow on your Refrigerator. Just cause you can install it on your Fridge doesn't mean you should expect it to perform well.

Hey, I used the installer and the game seems fine, however, after I fuse Pokemons (while having the options to mix sprites when the pokemon is fused toggled on) there simply is no sprite for the fusion on the menu. Its just an empty space. When I open the summary the sprite of the fusion itself is there, but on the Pokemon Menu it is invisible. When I reopen the game, the sprites are back to normal, but, if I fuse other 2 Pokemon after reopening, this new fusion goes invisible. What should I do to fix this issue?
