Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

  1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
    🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
  2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
  3. Run a virus scan

  • If you on 6.4.1 or higher and updating to the latest version, double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon. If you have more options, reshuffle each.

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

I can't remap my controller anymore. I had my controller fully mapped out with buttons, triggers, and tabs working normally. The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

Note: Ensure you know which save file is corrupted before continuing. You can see the save slot on the save selection screen.

  1. Open your game folder
  2. Double click SaveFile
  3. Delete the save file causing issues.
  4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

Sprite Requirements:

  1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
  2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

  1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
  2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/Custom Battlers/Sprites to import.
  3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

  2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
  3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

uh so downloaded the official launcher. i am softlocked because the map is different now. I used the debugger to warp out and i guess it links me to the discord?? because it crashed my PC. Can we add a setting to the launcher so it can, like, not link you to the discord?

After i used the emergency whistle the game started bugging, first it took 5 minutes when i found i wild pokemon, and then when i closed the game it froze once i reopened it

I had an older version of pif where things were slightly different. specifically, i was on cerulean cape shiny hunting. i was surfing but the ground was extended out to make room for a bunch of squirtles? i was surfing on the ground so i had to use the debugger

Try using game-performance and try it. If that doesn’t work, I’ll have to ask our tech manager if he has any thoughts. If not, he might be able to manually fix your save.

Hello everyone,

I started a save file on one computer with a specific set of settings. When I transferred my save to a new computer those settings were lost. The game generated new wild pokemon, and there were wild legendaries when I initially disabled their spawns. Is there a way to return to the original settings without restarting on a new save?

@blazing python essentially i was softlocked after updating from a super old version. when i used the debugger it i guess opens an external link that sends me to the discord. this crashed my pc multiple times. i ended up using performance mode to fix it, but i am inquiring if there is a way to, or if there is a way to add to, turn off it booting discord in case i need to use the debugger in the future

Every time I run the game it flashes constantly, I cannot exit the window, I cannot interact with the program, and I have to shut down my computer to make it stop
I’ve already wiped the game from my computer, redownloaded everything, and reset the linked game file and this is still happening.
Is there something I’m missing, is there any help I can get or are my days of fusing just over on my laptop?
