in general it performs slower on like a usb or when not on your main drive. I was just referencing the Downloads folder cause Microsoft tries to synch your files to the cloud, but onedrive doesnt do that from the Downloads folder and breaks the game often

I would recommend reinstalling use the alt download below and see if it fixes your issue. If it does, it means something on your computer was deleting files for some reason. You dont need to transfer anything to it

Git has locked your game folder from updating. To fix:

1. Open your game folder.
2. Enable the setting to view hidden files. How to do that
3. Delete the .git folder you will see in your folder now
4. Delete your Data folder (This will reset your game data, but it will keep your save data)

6. Double click Game to open the game.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.

2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/Custom Battlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

I just watch the workaround guide to find my save file, and... I found it, but now I'm even more confused. Can someone help me out with this? Basically...
- I'm on my wife's Steam Deck.
- I set up Infinite Fusion to be able to be played through Steam.
- I was originally playing using her account. I got really far.
- I just now set up my Steam account on the Steam Deck.
- I go to load up to play, but my saves aren't there. I assume they're linked to her User Profile or... maybe Steam Account?
- I use the workaround guide to find my old save files (File E, FIle F, and File G).
- I also found my current save location. Made save files A, B, and C to help me find the save location.
- My issue: There are like four File As, File Bs, and File Cs. They're all Pokemon Infinite Fusion.

I know they're all Pokemon Infinite Fusion. They're also all mine.
The wife doesn't use her deck much. She doesn't play Pokemon Infinite Fusion. She doesn't play any other RPG Maker games. Neither do I.
They're just... like... all copies.

So... like... where do I put the files?

first and foremost, you need android installed and functioning on your switch. Google and youtube can show you how to get that set up. You dont need the play store to get infinite fusion to work but you may want it anyway if you ever decide you want other android games. After you have android ready, You just follow the standard infinite fusion android setup guide the yanmega bot keeps spamming lol. The guide will provide you links to specific versions of joiplay and RPGmaker that will allow you to run infinite fusion on android.

Delete the game files you downloaded and step one in the guide is to uninstall rpg maker and joiplay because we use a specific version of it

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

everything works correctly exspect the part when it comes to controller support.

The problam is with the dpad keys bc you cant set them to any key why? Bc it doesnt show the options to set them. Talking about the right side that is highlighted red on the guide.

I guess the version of Joiplay 1.20.410 had a problam with it and didnt show it bc when i install newer versions of Joiplay 1.20.510+ it HAS the option to set the keys of dpad to any key you want.
But then the problam is you cant play the game bc of the error you get for HTTP.

So basicly the game needs to be updated to be able to be played WITH CONTROLLER on android to a newer version of Joiplay.

This is what i found out recently playing around and testing stuff as much as i chould.Sorry for the bad english and hope this information is usefull.

1. We can't update to a new version of joiplay. Joiplay is a 3rd party app we have no control of and new versions crash our game
2. Did you use the controller guide? I setup my xbox controller just fine on joiplay using it. I used the left thumbstick but in doing so, the dpad was also mapped just fine with the same behavior

it is hard to determine what your specific issue is cause it is hard to understand, maybe a screenshot would help us more, but it worked fine for my xbox controller and someone else's ps5 controller worked fine too

Updating the android version of infinite fusion for a newer Joiplay can take alot of effort depending ofc on the diff of the task.There might be aswell other things interfiring i have no knowlage off.

for 2 i am using a PS4 controller.
i dont have time atm to show the problam throw my exsaple (sreenshots,recording)

and when I play the game, both joystick and dpad work the same

might be a compatibility issue with your device and joiplay or ps4 and joiplay. It isn't something we can really dig into unfortunately.

but that might make time and ofc if you guys are willing to do so.

just for clarification, we only develop for windows

so we dont build or create anything android specific, this is just a workaround to get it to run on android

you are free to use newer version if you want to see if that makes a difference for you, but we know it doesn't support devices that are on our compatibility list, it crashes more, and moves like Thunder crash the game

I opened a bug on joiplay to fix these things, but no reply in over a month 🙂

so I was going to suggest the following, but it would be work to try and do on android though

Instead set Up to the W key
Down to S
Right to D
Left to A

then IN GAME, you have to have a button mapped to F1 to open the Keybinds menu in game

then if you can somehow change these to W, A, S, D, in theory, it should work

the part in the screenshot where I circled the buttons, I am not sure how to get Android to select W,A,S,D there though

i found joiplay for some reason keeps settings from old versions when installing new versions. I had to manually delete ALL instances and folders and setting files from joiplay to fix this issue. It was annoying lol

i dont even know if that is what fixed it, took like 5 hours to fix that error to make it work with the new version

that means your computer doesn't have enough space. You need to delete files to make room

the zip is like 2gb, and extracted like 3gb. So 5 gb is needed and then you can delete the zip later to save space

that means the zip did not extract successfully

you have to delete the game folder and extract again. Make sure you are using the RAR app

just wait some time after installing. The game comes with .nomedia files androids use to stop images from going to your gallery but when you extract files it doesn't extract in order. So depending on your phone and how long it takes to scan media again, might take a while for it to go away.

The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

Note: Ensure you know which save file is corrupted before continuing. You can see the save slot on the save selection screen.

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the save file causing issues.
4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

If you want to revert your save to a backup, use ?tag backup for more info.

wasnt able to do it over the phone or in joiplay so i edit it on pc and send the edited keybinds to my android and replaced the default once

but the thing is the joiplay sends me a msg that the games controller settings were changed (put back to default) when i run the game

so basicly takes my new keybinds and says nope and puts the old onces back
