@hardy idol yeah, they cut off updates for older models of MacBooks and iPhones at a certain point and my MacBook is from 2016 so it doesn’t surprise me I’m stuck at 12.7 just because of hardware differences from almost 10 years ago.

It only works if you press it in battle. But also afterwards there is a bug that causes moves to crash in battle from using f12. So it is a bit buggy

Wondering what the different game files are?

  • Game.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
  • Game-performance.exe is the lighter version of the game required to make it work on slower computers. It has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart. For new sprites, monthly sprite-packs must be downloaded manually.

That is fair, this game is made on a 20 year old engine and we actually often see newer pcs having issues due to the engine. Some player had 192gb of ram (don’t quote me on number but was really high over 128) and removing ram fixed it. Or ppl with new amd graphics drivers or 4070/4080 having performance issues. Could very well be the case in your situation, but nothing we can troubleshoot ourself

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

  1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
  2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

Lotad line has very few custom sprites. I’d recommend checking the calcs to see if what you’re trying to fuse with has one or not (lotad has less than 100/500)

please help me i don't know what to do
so i went and did the team rocket quest on pinkan island where you do a heist with team rocket, i collected a bunch of berries got all the TMs except for one berry in the forest which i forgot to collect. i got to the cave at the end of the quest and archie told me i needed one more berry, i found the berry clicked on it and it didn't let me interact with it, now i am softlocked (they take your items before the quest (including the debugger)), i can roam around and catch pokemon but only in pinkan island so if someone can please tell me what to do to escape this island or finish the quest it will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
btw i cant talk to the guy with the wortortle and the team rocket guys at the shore disappeared.

Possible idea for when “finished” with Kanto/Johto:
since showdown includes different fan games, what if all of them could come together and create a Pokémon home type of software and allow transfer between different games?
The Pokémon put inside of Infinite Fusions would not need to fuse able, only able to function as they would in their home game.

Hello friends! I've been playing the new update but with some certain Pokémon when I fuse them, it says they have a unique sprite, but when they're fused they don't. It's only happened with the newer Pokémon for now, Minior, Ludicolo, etc. I can also see on the Infinite Dex that there are fusions between some of these new Pokémon and others I've tried that are meant to look one way but absolutely do not in game.

I do have download sprites on in my options, and I don't know what else I can do to fix this?

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

  1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
  2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

  1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
  2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/Custom Battlers/Sprites to import.
  3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

  1. Launch the game.
  2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
  3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

  1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
  2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

Hey @vocal cypress! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK

If you are having sudden performance issues out of nowhere, restart your computer (no joke). Don’t shut down the computer as it just puts it to sleep. Use the restart option to free up processes on your computer.
