There are bugs in the 6.4 update in regards to updating. The app would have the same bugs. So I took it down so I can make a new installer/updater and to not have to troubleshoot multiple sources of installation/updates until the game is stable

Wondering what the different game files are?

• Game.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
• Game-performance.exe is the lighter version of the game required to make it work on slower computers. It has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart. For new sprites, monthly sprite-packs must be downloaded manually.

Yeah just double check what version it says when you open it. Should say 6.4.5, if so it has it for sure. Just need to make sure you go to the menu, then select your save and in game open the options

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

Another "official website" victim here. Thank you for the warning when you boot up the game. Deleted the files and running a full pc scan. I found some events in the windows logs that look suspicious and saved them to run by my cyber security friend. I'm just using windows defender scan. Really worried about what it might have snuck onto my system.

Update: It is possible to map a controller for the game on andorid

Not sure if mods or any higher up want to pin this for anyone else who want to do this in the future

To do this is easy, follow my steps below.
(I'm using PS4 Controller, works for XBOX Controller also)

Step 1: go to Joiplay - click the 3 dots - settings - then click P.Essential Settings - then turn Input Override ON then SAVE (dont forget to save or it won't work)

Step 2: go into game - click dropdown list at the top of screen - click settings - scroll down till you see gamepad mapping - click it and remove all.

Step 3: press button on controller, best way to do this is to follow the amount ingame controls needed (in this case is which 12)

Step 4 (hardest step): after selecting your 12 button manually connect them to the ingame buttons (image) to the button u want on controller - Eg. USE KEY ITEMS is button D but you want that to be R2 - so select the R2 mapping bind then click on the 0 in the middle and change that to D and that will make it so that when u press R2 you open the KEY ITEMS menu. (Do the rest for the other bind)

That it - that's your controller connected to joiplay and Pokemon infinite fusion game have fun 👍.

If mods want me to make a full guide on this with proper screenshot please let me know I'll be happy to help the community.

Git has locked your game folder from updating. To fix:

1. Open your game folder.
2. Enable the setting to view hidden files. How to do that
3. Delete the .git folder you will see in your folder now

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
4. If your save slot was A, go to the File A folder
5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed

How to fix ? mark or Invisible sprites

Both are issues with your internet. The game requires you to be connected to internet and on the latest version to get sprites properly:

• HotSpot/Mobile Data doesn't count.

How to Reset your Sprite Pull:

1. Open your menu in game and select Options.
2. Go to the option named Download Spritesand turn it OFF.
3. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

IF this doesn't work, you need to install the custom sprites manually because your internet is not downloading them: Guide to Install Sprites

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Ah. Yea, the sprite icons not showing up is a performance.exe only issue. The only “fix” is to close and reopen the game but it’ll keep happening with new mons or when you move a mon

Wondering what the different game files are?

• Game.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
• Game-performance.exe is the lighter version of the game required to make it work on slower computers. It has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart. For new sprites, monthly sprite-packs must be downloaded manually.

we have moved away from using the app, but your specific issue is Onedrive blocking the app from updating the game. You should install the game fresh anyways, there are bugs in updating 6.2.4 in general

Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.
