Hey @slender blade! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Actually I'm curious about this because I've done it recently myself. If you delete the whole folder but your save still remains, where is the save data stored...?

Saving the game now creates a backup save file. The 10 newest saves are backed up automatically in the backup folder.

Your save file and backup folder is located in: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\InfiniteFusion.

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

For locating your save on a non-windows device, please refer to the workaround guide for your device

Hey @cunning creek! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK

Actually, nevermind, I really figured out the issue. I forgot the mod I was using isn't vanilla, and THAT is the cause. I have a mod that shows Pokemon types, and THAT is causing this error. The dangers of modding, I suppose. I guess let this be a warning to those who mod the game. The mod was deleted when it updated, so that's why it ended up working after the update.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/Custom Battlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

Beware of Unofficial Websites That Claim To Be Official.

The only official sources to download the game are here, the game's subreddit or the pokecommunity thread.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Hey @mild nova! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

I downloaded the game yesterday and had no issues. Today I updated my graphic drivers and ever since it's been struggling a bit when it comes to loading sprites. It takes upto a full 5 a 10 minutes to start the game, and each encounter takes a while. I've tried reinstalling the game, restarting my computer, but it still persists. Any clue? Just updated to 6.4.5 (on android device):

• went to check Luvdisc in Pokédex and the sprite is still missing, with only that sprite being available. Is this still an issue in this version or do I need to do something further? I have "download files" turned on. I just saw the info in download, I believe this is probably the answer, sorry for pestering
• another sprite "issue", I encounter a wild glalie for the first time, when caught, the sprite it showed up with in battle was not among the sprites to set after the catch happened. Not sure, just wanted to pass that info along.

I'm receiving "ERROR: This script must be run from a folder named "InfiniteFusion" or "InfiniteFusion_6.2.4_preloaded"." when trying to update the game from the installer on Windows. I've linked the folder that has my game.exe in it, and I am uncertain what is going wrong. The installer gives this error while it is in the infinite fusion folder, and outside of the folder.

quick other question: on windows does the game installer need to open up a command window? it looked like a pretty normal installation thing to me (was counting up file contents) but i want to ask if that's something to worry about

The error also states it can be called "InfiniteFusion_6.2.4_preloaded" which is what mine is named. But I just ran the batch file from inside the folder itself and got it to work.

Hello, even using the pre-installed download, I can start the game, but I can't create a new game. I can click any button and leave the title screen, but when trying to create a new game, nothing happens.
What I've done: was tricked by the 1st ranking website, downloaded and installed that, got the message that I was conned, deleted that, joined the discord and downloaded the regular download, installed, couldn't get the game to start a new game, deleted, then tried with the pre-installed download, and can't get the game to start a new game.
It's probably very dumb but I can't find what to do
