Hey @nocturne holly! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

well, had to use the alternative installer, but it works now. But, its pretty laggy. and none of the fused sprites show up in my boxes. it mostly lags when I'm in the box trying to look what I have, especially if anything's fused.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

Afterwards, reopen the game.

Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.

I think something's up with my encounter file. The PokeRadar shows different encounters in a route than what I encounter. I turned random wild encounters off, and while the PokeRadar now shows the 'vanilla' encounters, I get different wild encounters in the grass

wild encounter and static encounters both play a part when using the pokeradar - which is what is causing your inconsistencies

wild encounter pool gets touched when random battle in grass.
static encounter gets touched when shaking grass from pokeradar. (i believe)

because normally they are near identical on a route when not randomized (the green pokeradar encounter is the only exception). you dont realize this.

but on randomizer you now have 2 totally different pools on 1 route when using pokeradar.

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

If you move to a usb, the game runs slow.

All Mobile issues are due to not following our setup guide. If you didn’t use the Android google doc, you have the fake files ➡️ Android Google Doc

If your Joiplay version is not 1.20.410 and RPG Maker is not 1.20.53, you didn't do step 1 of installing on Android. This is why it is crashing so much.

Make sure when you open the game you are on v6.4.4 or higher. If not, redownload.

To fix other issues for Mobile:

1. Open your game.
2. Open the menu and go to options (don't do this from the main menu. You need to be inside the game)
3. Change Device to Mobile (If it was Mobile already, change it to PC, close the menu. Save. Then reopen and Select Mobile)
4. Change Text Entry to Cursor.
5. Then Save the Game
6. Restart your game and try again.

This will fix all Android issues. If you still experiencing issues, let us know which phone you have because it is not compatible.

I'm currently in the Pewter City poke center. After healing my pokemon (bc they died) I tried to fuse my bulbasaur starter with a pichu I caught. The fuse worked, but when the pokedex entry was pulled up, this screen was showed. After clicking OK, I was kicked out of the game and re-entering brought me back to when I entered the pokecenter with my damaged pokemon. But once you find your save, move it somewhere else like your downloads folder. Essentially easiest way to update on 6.4 (because of the bugs) is to reinstall and then move your save file to the new location your saves are stored.

Going forward, you do not need to do this and can run the updater (just 6.4 was a bit buggy)

Excuse me, I tried downloading directly the InfiniteFusion.zip file in the # downloads channel, and as I did everything exactly the way it was instructed, this happened, twice. The 4 screenshots are in chronological order (the cmd + the folder each time), and I even had a developper friend to help me in voice chat. The game worked for him, but not for me. The last version I had was 6.0.2, so I just deleted it and instlled from scratch.

I have randomized wild pokemon with guaranteed fusions spawning, but anytime I turn off the game and boot up again, the fusions-only setting turned off. All wild pokemon are randomized, but to make them fusions, I need to reshuffle using the black suit dude.

That's right, with the links and following the guide to the letter, I even uninstalled rog maker and joi play a couple of times thinking they were the problem but everything seems to be ok

Hey @ocean crag! Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

You can press F1 (FN + F1 on laptops) to change your keybindings!

Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.

Hey @devout orbit! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

Afterwards, reopen the game.

This means there is no custom Sprite for that Pokémon, so you have to manually change it from the Pokédex to the back up Sprite. This is a bug because the game should revert back to the back up Sprite by default, but it is not.

Read below:

1. If you are lower than version 6.4 and want to update to the latest, it is better to reinstall the game. Not update your files. You do not lose your Save File and you don’t need to transfer anything. Sprites come with the game now in 6.4. Use the Lightweight installer ➡️ Click Here⬅️

2. If you are updating from 6.4, 6.4.1, 6.4.2 to the latest version, double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat from your game folder.

The installer is returning an error that your connection dropped from downloading. You can either:
