Ok perfect. So easiest way for you to do this is:

1. Download the new 6.4.1 game from the description
2. Extract it
3. Rename your InfiniteFusion_6.2.4_preloaded to old
4. Move the 6.4.1 folder named InfiniteFusion in the same location as your old folder
5. They should be both in the same location
6. Rename InfiniteFusion to InfiniteFusion_6.2.4_preloaded

Reason we doing this is so that essentially we are just swapping out the old files to the new one and your save files will stay in place.

Also because the current installer is broken, but 6.4.1 has the fixed one so going forward, you dont need to do it this way and just update like it says in the video.

Okay so, in testing:

1. The game saves the option you set it to between PC or Mobile, which it didnt before (it defaulted to PC before)

2. I swapped to PC mode on mobile and fused a pokemon. The game crashed, as expected because of the bug. When I reopened the game, the options displayed it as being in Mobile mode again. I fused again, it crashed, which was unexpected.

3. I reopened the game, swapped back to PC in options, then back to Mobile again, as it was displaying I was in mobile mode. I fused, it worked; no crash. I saved and exited.

4. I opened my save file again, with it defaulted to mobile mode after I saved it that way, fusing worked, no crash, so it seems to be functioning as long as you do NOT swap to PC mode.

It should be stressed in the mobile guide not to swap the game mode in options to PC under any circumstances, just to be safe, but if you swap to mobile and save, it works from then on. Even after exiting to title screen/closing the app. If needed for any addition, the tested pokemon i used were Bulbasaur/Shinx in remix mode.

the reason I gave you those steps is because on Steam Deck, if you add the new game to your steam library, it creates a new location for saves.

If you remove games from your steam library, it deletes them. So the steps I gave is to avoid both

If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Game won't launch, just updated and it didn't work - I have the folder in an external drive so that may be why it's not working as well.
I launch the game through Game.exe, the window pops up, completely black, then closes itself. Nothing else.

Hey @indigo inlet! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

So i read before the final update came out and mobile users were supposed to delete the whole game and reinstall, i looked up a few things and was told the save files are not in the direct game folder so i was not at risk of losing them. I see now that i have to copy the save from my last infinite fusion folder to the new one. How can i get this back

Updating from an old version to 6.4.0 won't work unless you install fresh in a new folder or use the NEW Lightweight Installer.
