Yup, anytime you remove or add any game as a non steam game, it creates a new folder for storage of the game

Well this is frustrating. It's still doing it. Not really sure how I can do anything differently. The only way I can download the game is on my desktop and sending the zip to my steam deck via USB stick (same way I did in 6.2.4 that worked fine) and then extracting it on the steam deck from there. Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I think my file has a glitch - for the quest monitor person who says how many people you have to help to get a reward, the number is suddenly negative since downloading the new update and gets larger the more quests I complete (like said help -9 more people, then I did 2 quests, now says help -11 more people)
Anyone know of a fix for that? If not it’s no big deal!

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.

I saved file right before captain deposit all TM and HM into box and talked to capt which it then gave me the HM. Looks like one of my buddies also failed to get HM08 Flash when he received it from the quest guy.

Hey, so i just wanted to download IF in my new PC just when you announced 6.4; but anytime i execute "INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat", i always get 96% in receiving objects and remain stuck for a good while until it says "connection error" or something. If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.

2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

Not sure if it's been brought up, but in route 22 you can pass through the top tree of the treeline blocking you from the berry bushes, not the cuttable tree but below that when you enter route 22 normally. So you can technically walk past the guy who stops you before you get your pokedex and circumvent the grass before getting cut

Yeah! But even after I was able to select Mobile, my game crashed a few times still, as if it was still on PC, even though I saved it as Mobile.

I can confirm what you did also fixed mine, but it's unstable. The game goes back to crashing if you open the options menu again after setting the device to Mobile. But if you never open the options menu again, everything does seem to work fine.

Howdy, the game says i got Cut but I dont see Cut in my inventory. any advice?
