If you are having issues with sprites after using our new zip, this means you did not set it up correctly. Reasons it didn't work:

1. You didn't use our 2.6 gb zip download from megaman's post in #downloads
2. You forgot to turn off download sprites from in game settings, save your game, and restart your game
3. You extracted it on top of an existing InfiniteFusion folder. These files are your new game folder. Don't mix them with your old files.
4. You are opening it from your old game files or shortcut. You need to open it within the new folder that was extracted with the 2.6 gb zip

If you did ALL above, share a screenshot of you doing step 6 of the guide to show us your game files.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.

Alright so out of curiosity, should I just do a factory reset on my tablet at this point… I have a Samsung Tab A9+, I followed the guide to a T (even though I started the sprite pack download, I didn’t finish it or touch it). Installed JoiPlay and RPG maker plugin from the guide/here, got a runtime error, did the runtime fix. Got a compile error, attempted the “edit” fix. But no dice. I also tried to reinstall JoiPlay and RPG maker, but still no good.

Hello! Just came back from playing about 2 years ago and as you'd expect, someone else with sprite issues. So I installed the clean new version, then turnt off the online sprites. Then set back manually the sprites. Now trying the preloaded version. However I'm reading on those last instructions that the ? sprites will keep existing until 6.3. On the first NOTE where it says "Most Pokemon will return no sprite or question marks." Unzipping now, hopefully this one works.

If you use Game.exe black screen should be minimal at the start. Using game-preloaded will always have long black screen but faster in games it is the low quality mode of the game

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

Hey @cosmic prawn! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Update on the tab A9

Factory resetting worked. The game is running, I have not yet gone past the title screen but the title animation started and now it’s running. I’m going to make an assumption here: the fake site’s files embedded something (potentially malicious, not sure) somewhere which was preventing the real files from properly starting. The compile issues and otherwise inability to get the game going is extremely likely linked to the fake files. It’s also possible I wasn’t able to fully remove JoiPlay and the RPG maker plugin successfully, which also may be because of the fake files. Tab A9 is working.

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

I'm trying to download and enable the most up-to-date sprites but am having trouble. Here's some context:

• I'm playing on a Mac and using "Whisky" as a type of Wineskin
• I haven't had any issues to-date playing the "preloaded" version, nor has the gameplay/loading been affected since I started trying to update the sprites
• I've been able to execute "InfiniteFusionUpdater" and "INSTALL_OR_UPDATE" programs after downloading and unzipping from the corresponding game files ("InfiniteFusionUpdater" found in "InfiniteFusionSetup" while "INSTALL_OR_UPDATE" found in the preloaded folder)
• I haven't been able to activate and launch the Infinite Fusion Setup App - when I've tried to pin and then run the .bat file for it from Whisky, the file itself disappears
• I've tried turning off the "Download Sprites" option but haven't seen any discernible difference (or a prompt to download/install anything additional)
• The terminal has launched a few different times, and seemingly ran/executed, but I'm still not seeing the updated sprites.

I'm happy to start sharing screenshots if that'll help with thoughts or troubleshooting.

It is known that each update makes more and more android devices drop from the "compatible" list

and it runs on Steamdeck, Linux, and Android due to other people finding and making workarounds

The main thing with iOS is that it would be almost impossible for an iOS version of this game. It’s not a rom so it can’t be done through an emulator which means (unless Apple changes policies on third party software like joiplay) it would have to go through the App Store which would be a one way ticket to nintendos lawyers front desk

Hey @night lake! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Dynamic/Default/Mobile version:
You don't need to do anything! The game will download them as you play! Unfortunately at this time, these versions are currently unavailable. Please update your sprites with the manual method for now.
Manual method:
You can download the Full Pack that contains all sprites ever, as well as all fixes and updates that have been made. To add the sprites to your game, drag the pack's Custombattlers folder into your game's graphics folder and it will merge with the existing Custombattlers folder. Then, run the game, and it will index all the files. If it asks you if you want to replace the existing sprites with the new ones, select yes!

If you are having sudden performance issues out of nowhere, restart your computer (no joke). Don’t shut down the computer as it just puts it to sleep. Use the restart option to free up processes on your computer.
