Wondering what the different game files are?

• Game.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
• Game-default.exe is just a copy of the above.
• Game-preloaded.exe is the lesser version of the game just to make it work on slower computers. It requires ALL sprites to be local on your computer to work properly, but has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart.

ive been playing classic mode for like 20hrs without any issues, then i decided to try out remix mode to see more of the later gen pokemons etc and im having a TON of crashes and errors. game just randomly closing when i try to open it giving no error, sometimes pokemons are invisible when entering a battle, a lot of tilemaprenderer crashes when i play with speedup active but even without speedup it gives me tilemaprenderer crashes. ive been getting some other errors aswell but i havent gotten a screenshot of them yet sadly(i will post when i get them)

i downloaded/installed the lightweight version
i did a new clean install already and the same things started happening
pc specs: i9-13900k + 4090, incase its needed for performance related things etc.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.

but its weird to me bcs classic mode worked fine in everyway for many hours, speedup or not. and remix has giving me trouble from the beginning

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

one issue i instantly see there is, that your game folder is on the c drive direct ... that may cause issues, its recommended to have the game folder on a user directory, at best desktop or download folder

If you are having sudden performance issues out of nowhere, restart your computer (no joke). Don’t shut down the computer as it just puts it to sleep. Use the restart option to free up processes on your computer.

this might've been the saving grace, sofar nothing happened while running around in speedup through multiple zone transitions/buildings/battle etc

couple things i'd wanted to ask about aswell:

1. sometimes i get like a small freeze in frames when running around, almost like its loading something. this is normal or something i should be worried about(this has always happened, even when playing classic which had no issues for me related to crashes etc, but i'd figured i ask just incase)?
2. the speedup speed is set to 4x, im assuming this is default and shouldn't cause issues right?

Ok so. Idk if its a my computer is bad problem but any launcher i've tried, every time i enter or exit a building or exit a building, it'll be stuck on a black screen for around 20 seconds before loading up. I'm playing on the latest version (6.2.4)

Hey @twilit sigil! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.

Hey @quiet pecan! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

If you are having issues with sprites after using our new zip, this means you did not set it up correctly. Reasons it didn't work:

1. You didn't use our 2.6 gb zip download from megaman's post in #downloads
2. You forgot to turn off download sprites and restart your game
3. You extracted it on top of an existing InfiniteFusion folder. These files are your new game folder. Don't mix them with your old files.
4. You are opening it from your old game files or shortcut. You need to open it within the new folder that was extracted with the 2.6 gb zip

If you did ALL above, share a screenshot of you doing step 5 of the guide to show us your game files.

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Hey @lost veldt! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

disabling for 10 mins disable for 1hr for 5 hours until pc restarts and perminent

my earplugscauses my pc to glitch and have to be restarted
