I downloaded the one from infinitefusion.net and ran it without thinking, thinking it was real. I found out its fake/maybe malware already (got conflicting info some saying its malware others saying otherwise that its just to get clicks on the site). I'm running a scan rn but just to make sure, what's the best way to go about deleting any files that came from it?

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

Steps:

1. Delete your current game folder you have (this won't delete the save).
2. Download the game from: HERE.
3. Extract it into a new folder but make sure to leave it in your Downloads folder to avoid other issues (OneDrive).

This will make sure you have fresh game data and also the correct files. If you are still having issues, this means your issue is 100% an issue with your computer.

Hi, So I picked the game up after a while, installed the app installer and updated to the new version.

I knew I wouldn't have internet for a bit so I set up the preload version following all the steps, and the game worked just fine, it was only today when I checked preload off and went to play the non preload version that my controls were completely different.

I can't rebind them because I'm using a ps4 controller and I saw the message saying I would need to download something to make it think it's an xbox controller or use steam to rebind, but the thing is I was able to rebind just fine on the preload version of the game, and when going back to it I was able to rebind controls no problem.

yeah the game isn't meant to switch between preloaded and the normal game. They use diff keybindings files and conflict with each other

Preloaded for some reason has better controller support, not sure why that is the case. But we found you can use the normal game with no internet since you installed preloaded.

yeah so it should go away depending on your phone. When you extracted the files, your phone in the background was adding ALL of the media to your gallery.

When the zip is completely extracted, it adds the .nomedia files so that the media becomes hidden. Your phone just has to wait until it scans for media again to hide them

Use this link if the installers go down (GitHub issues), don't know if your files are authentic, or have weird issues like missing background textures. These files 100% work.

Steps:

1. Delete your current game folder you have (this won't delete the save).
2. Download the game from: HERE.
3. Extract it into a new folder but make sure to leave it in your Downloads folder to avoid other issues (OneDrive).
4. Open Game.exe from it (not game-preloaded).

This will make sure you have fresh game data and also the correct files. If you are still having issues, this means your issue is 100% an issue with your computer.

Hey @rugged flame! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

as long as the randomizer settings are going through on your end then it should be fine

if they aren't then there may be an issue with the game files on your end, which pretty much means clean install time

i.e., delete everything you downloaded for the game, restart your phone, reinstall following the guide exactly, see if issue persists

Both are issues with your internet. The game requires you to be connected to internet and on the latest version to get sprites properly:

• HotSpot/Mobile Data doesn't count.

How to Reset your Sprite Pull:

1. Open your menu in game and select Options.
2. Go to the option named Download Spritesand turn it OFF.
3. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

right so i followed both the written example and the video example, neither of which worked. i attempted to download the files only to be disrupted and told to try again. i tried again and it downloaded a file called download_repair. i cant exttract it or anything like that.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.

if the above doesn't fit your device, you will need to effectively reinstall the game using the guide for whatever system you are on

that message link contains a guide on how to get at minimum the app installer to work around anti-virus programs like defender or norton, outside those you'd have to look it up yourself

but given you say you can't extract, you may lack a program that can do that, we recommend either winrar or 7zip

beyond that, your device may not have the proper access to download the game [i.e., someone else is the main admin account, your account has parental locks, etc.]

This is a weird issue. Somehow your Internet Explorer security levels are too high lol not sure why Microsoft checks that, but I can give you a zip of the app already installed to make this easier if you'd like

My friend set that up 😭 he’s the one who helped me build my pc and set up windows and everything. I’m administrator on it the problem was a duplicate folder, I was opening the app on the dupe folder instead of the original, prompting that error.

Yeah that is a weird error. The last time I've seen this was that the game downloaded, but something on the computer was removing it at the same time, so the download tried to pick up the files deleted and redownloaded at the same time

think of it more like the alt download will be the main files for the game, the app installer is an extra that helps ensure the game is up to date [it will tell you if one pops up, even if it a shadow update that frog never announces] and install sprites should you choose to do that

If you are having issues installing the App Installer, this usually means your Anti Virus is blocking the App.

• If you have Windows Defender, use the following guide: Guide
• If you have another anti-virus, you need to google solutions to allow the app to run.
• If it still doesn't work, use the following link to get the App already installed: Files

Extract the files, and double click on InfiniteFusionApp.exe to open the app.

Use the zip in the 3rd bullet point above. that is the App already installed so it will skip the error you are getting
