Hey @graceful leaf! This game is developed ONLY for Windows. Joiplay is a workaround to get Android to work, but iOS will not work.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

The old way of changing custom player sprites will not work anymore.

Hey @void bane! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

i play the preloaded version but when i catch fusions or have fusions at all they are invisible until i reload the game which takes a while is there a way to fix this without having to use the combine dna symbol

thats a preloaded exclusive bug, relaunching the game wil temporary fix it, but it will happen again, nothing we can do about that

If anyone knows, how come keybinds are different from preloaded vs online? I only just realised this seems to be why my keybinds are weird since i changed to online. And it is not properly recognizing some of my controller keys any more, e.g. L and R bumper, whereas it did with preloaded. It's mapped some weird ass stuff like L analog press = L.

Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.

But I can't get The game's audio to play through headphones. Plug-ins, Bluetooth. It just continues to play through the laptop itself. I can listen to youtube through headphones and everything else, but Fusion just refuses.

Trying to edit code to enable cheats will **NOT **work. Magic boots are only available from in game rewards by catching the 470 Base Pokemon.

The only help we will provide to "fix" your issue is to give you the information to delete your game folder and reinstall using the files in #downloads message. This does not affect your save files.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

Hey @rich fractal! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

How to Reset your Sprite Pull:

3. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

Hey @warped plover! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Lightweight Installer Update:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

1. Open the App
2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

Both options will update the game files for you. If it didn't, rerun the update and wait for it to finish. Take and share a screenshot of the window to #tech-support

Hey, i was about to fight Giovanni on Mt. Ember when this error message popped, and the game crashed. I am playing on randomizer for pretty much every setting.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

You can press F1 (FN + F1 on laptops) to change your keybindings!

Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.

What does it mean if there's no sprite showing up? I have download custom sprites on but sometimes nothing shows up. Does it mean the sprites are still downloading?

Hey @grand violet! Do you need to install sprites? No. The game by default install sprites as you encounter Pokemon over the internet. No need to install anything.

Why do we have sprite packs? If you have unstable internet, you can use the sprite packs to install them manually using this Guide.

How to fix ? mark or Invisible sprites

Both are issues with your internet. The game requires you to be connected to internet and on the latest version to get sprites properly:

• HotSpot/Mobile Data doesn't count.

How to Reset your Sprite Pull:

1. Open your menu in game and select Options.
2. Go to the option named Download Spritesand turn it OFF.
3. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

IF this doesn't work, you need to install the custom sprites manually because your internet is not downloading them: Guide to Install Sprites

Hello, my pc crashed while i was wonder trading and after the restart the game doesn't show my savefile anymore, although the file is still there in the game's folder. Is there anything i can do to solve it? Is the file corrupted?

also, i tried a new game and when i try to manually save it, it gives me this message
