graphics/battlers/special is the fodler where you find them

Game Backup

Use this link the installers go down (GitHub issues), don't know if your files are authentic, or have weird issues like missing background textures. These files 100% work.

Steps:

1. Delete your current game folder you have (this won't delete the save).
2. Download the game from: HERE.
3. Extract it into a new folder but make sure to leave it in your Downloads folder to avoid other issues (OneDrive).
4. Open Game.exe from it (not game-preloaded).

This will make sure you have fresh game data and also the correct files. If you are still having issues, this means your issue is 100% an issue with your computer.

Hey @lavish fog! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

So I recently updated my game and decided to start a new run- picked the female sprite with the darkest hair and lightest skin. I've noticed two odd things that may or may not be bugs; the hair loads before the rest of the sprite when I enter a new map, and the eyes are discolored. To be more specific, they look "blue" when I run, and then when I stand still the eye on the right only turns brown. I'm not sure how universal it is, but it's definitely a character creator-related thing.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crashtrainer battlers.

Steps:

2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

Lightweight Installer Update:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

1. Open the App
2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

My game crashed in ||desert temple|| and I think it's cause I tried to open the menu the same time the PA would announce (wanted to check steps. Hey @glacial wolf! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Git has locked your game folder from updating. To fix:

1. Open your game folder.
2. Enable the setting to view hidden files. How to do that
3. Delete the .git folder you will see in your folder now
4. Delete your Data folder (This will reset your game data, but it will keep your save data)
5. Update Again by double clicking on INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat
6. Double click Game to open the game.

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.

given the nature of it, I "think" this is tied to the sprite pidgey has atm, but the game would have crashed when you tried to swap it to that sprite after you caught it [or if you haven't caught it, when you tried to switch the wild sprite to something different]

When the game crashes without no error, that means your computer is crashing the game. Not related to the code or game at all

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

Afterwards, reopen the game.
