4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it.
6. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

If you want to use a controller, close the game, plug in your controller to your PC, and then open the Game.

Be aware, pressing F1 to remap controllers will not work. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses. Ex: A button to Accept/Confirm = C Keyboard Key

we have no control over how controllers work with that, as it is a third party workaround.

Connect it and see if it works; play around with the controller/button layout in joiplay.

but please, dont go messing with "sudo rm -f" if you are not comfortable with it, to avoid bricking your steamdeck

1. Once the game is reinstalled, download the Data.zip from Google drive
2. Extract it. Copy the Data folder. Just make sure it is the not like a duplicate Data folder inside of it.
3. Open your game folder on your new computer and delete the Data folder. Then paste in your Data folder from Google drive.

Sometimes whenyou extract a zip, it will make a copy of the folder name so it will be like Data/Data/game files here.

So you need to copy the Data folder before the game files

I dont know if this has been answered already, but is there a way to validate my music folder? There seems to be a few spots in the game that are missing music for me, mainly the Bike Theme (and by extension, Cycling Road) and the Battle Facility in Vermilion.

The app is not electronically signed cause it cost hundreds of dollars a year so windows thinks it is suspicious. But it is safe and if you run it through virustotal it is completely safe if you want to double check.

Hey, I’m getting weirdly long load times every time I leave a location or end a battle (or even just when I try to switch out Pokémon during a battle). yeah so you need to clear your game data (not save) and try again. Might need to exit the room completely then re-enter afterwards

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game (this will delete the Data folder and bring it back for you)

Afterwards, reopen the game.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

Hey @topaz crystal! You cannot install this game on iPhone or iPad. This game is not a ROM Hack so Delta won't work and we are not planning to release an iOS version.
