The game seems to crash on me when I try to hatch an egg in a randomizer play-through. I'm not seeing anything for it here or online, but I'm wondering if I need to reload the sprites or something? yeah v5 is an older verson which does not have a lot of the stuff the current version has and thus older pcs wont be able to run the new version as it has too much new stuff

Its mostly just that android 11+ HATES loads of small files. its about a 6x slower file management system than older android versions.
I've noticed that my 6 year old s9+ WAYYYY outperforms both my tab s8 and Nothing phone 2 for PIF.

If I recall correctly it has to do with every file being managed by com.google.android.providers.media.module a JAVA based storage access framework.

have been attempting a nuzlocke and was complaining about the grindyness, and my buddy suggested a reddit post to me to try and open debug so i could get bulk rare candies. after attempting to edit the script as was written in the post, game wouldn't open. Have edited out the script change and the problem remains the same

So you can keep progressing and surf to where you need to go past the whirlpools and such. The only thing it locks you from is Deoxys. Once you get to that point, I can fix the boat for you

If you are having sudden performance issues out of nowhere, restart your computer (no joke). Don’t shut down the computer as it just puts it to sleep. Use the restart option to free up processes on your computer.
