Yeah you don’t need to update WineSkin to update the game. They are separate. If your current WineSkin version is good and working, no reason to change that, but you can still update the game

Any reason why my title screen liads sooo sloe even after using the launcher to preload, im laumching the game.exe tho and download sprites are off, preload doesent even launch all the time, when it does its slow too.

Preloaded will always have a long start up time also

Black screen duration depends solely on your PC, but with preloaded you sacrifice long start up time for in game performance

After that open the game. It will NOT say anything about finding a sprite or replacing.

This is due to having a full party and using the menu to swap a pokemon out with someone in your party. When you do this, it is deleting items. Avoid this menu

In that save file folder, you can create a new folder and put all your saves in there and try reopening

this just means your pc can't run the dynamic variant

you need to setup preloaded and use that game executable

Preloaded doesn't work out of the box. You need to set it up using either of the two guides below:

yeah, i translated it with google ... i had another user before, they got the exact same error (just in spanish) and they didnt even installed the game, but the app launcher opened

but the rig is showing they have windows 11

if the system itself is showing 11, but the game thinks it is on windows 7 or 8, that is a big problem

that's either an issue with the app [which megaman would need to check], or something with the version registry/system itself is hard borked

though technically I wonder if the fact that it says they are running Windows 11 Family edition which, to my knowledge, doesn't exist

Even if they provide it, would be up to them to translate for us lol but yeah being on Windows 11 Family, probably means access denied or that section does actually say "cannot be installed because we think it is a virus". When it is that error message, it means their anti virus (outside of windows defender) is blocking it

Yeah, black screen duration depends purely on your computer

Example, I get no black screen. Others get 1-3 seconds of black screen. Some couple minutes. Just depends on your computer

so i know the whole thing with the f1 binding for controls not working, even though it used to work fine for me, but rebinding using third party uses the third party and the default controller controls overlapping eachother

If you want to use a controller, close the game, plug in your controller to your PC, and then open the Game.

Be aware, pressing F1 to remap controllers will not work. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses. Ex: A button to Accept/Confirm = C Keyboard Key
