Hey @scarlet cove! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

once you have the game installed, run it first [this allows it to create certain folders that don't exist normally]

if then after that you want to download sprites, i don't recommend the full pack since that doesn't actually have all the sprites

it is just packs 1-99, it is missing pack 100, as well as autogen sprites and some other customs not included in the custom sprite packs

but as stated, you can get by without downloading any of those as long as you have stable internet on the device you play the game on

If you want to create a shortcut, right click Game.exe and click show more options and click create new shortcut

Hi there! I've been using the Infinite Fusion app to play the game/download sprites. Not sure if it's related, but I'm noticing that a lot of my Pokemon have the wrong sprites (ie a Garchomp/Diglett fusion will display as a Charizard/Pidgey fusion)

Is there a safe fix for this (I figured maybe deleting/reinstalling stuff but I want to make sure I do it correctly). I am also curious if this issue is avoidable (if I did something wrong to cause it).

This fixed my game! Please note that reshuffling wild Pokemon is quite literal, so it will regenerate fusions for all routes. If you had a fusion you wanted to catch first, be sure to do that before you shuffle.

there's been some sprite shenanigans since 6.1

we're not sure if it is the repo pulling the wrong stuff, if sprites got misnumbered or misnamed

i think stuff like that technically counts towards #1052360360172199977 but honestly i'm not 100% sure

as i've posted stuff in there that fit that avenue and was told it was a bug report thing, and done that and was told it was a sprite error thing

grab a screenshot and ask over in #spriter-general if it is something worthy of the sprite error channel or if it needs to go in #1142871804269052004

[also grab screenshots of anyone saying it is a bug report and put that in along with it so if other spriters say it should be over in errors, we can uno reverse them]

this isn't correct. Sprite issues have been fixed. This is usually an issue on the user's end.

There are some small sprites misnumbered, but that usually isn't the case. Either way I can double check it also again the sprite repo. If the sprite repo is correct, this is an issue with the user not the game

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

code wise, it is 512 x 384. But that is all the info I have

it doesn't scale the best. Example on Steam Deck, we get black bars on the left and right

interesting, now that I'm looking closer, I think the scaling issues are from the game itself. I bet the 512x384 is getting scaled to 640x480, causing the shimmer to happen even on the native resolution options.

I have no idea how laborious adding a "no scaling" option would be, but that seems like it would fix the problem. In any case, I'll just play as is for now

I've triple checked my windows audio device is setup correctly, and I've had a look here and seen suggestions to try restarting the game multiple times, which also doesn't seem to help. 2: Have you checked your volume mixer on Windows doesn't have the game audio set to 0?
3: Surprisingly, restarting the game multiple times has fixed the issue for ppl

These are all the tips we have. Outside of these 3, you'd have to check what is wrong on your end. The fact you don't see it in your volume mixer seems like the issue. It should appear when you open the game

It's saying you don't have the sound file for golem's cry. Rerunning the installer should give you any files you're missing. It won't touch your save.

Hey @sharp cove! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

yeah steam deck remapping is amazing. You can even configure what you want it to do if you long press a button, full press of a trigger, half press of a trigger. It is crazy lol
