That kind of thing usually happens because you're typing characters the game doesn't recognize

Hey @indigo fulcrum! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Yeah it was tough to get it to work tbh lol. But I did mostly, only when entering the name the left and right D pad Buttons are switched for some reason. But that's no problem, the game worked fine with in every other aspect. Only the text shadows are so weird.

Hey @fresh scaffold! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @fresh scaffold! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

You are missing the updater folder here. So you can either use the app installer to update or put the folder and batch file from this zip into your game folder: [Zip](#downloads message) and rerun Install or update.

Keep in mind, this game is not made for mobile! The only workarounds we provide are in the guide. Any tile issues, performance issues, or bugs on Android cannot be fixed as they are JoiPlay issues. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

Because you are trying to open the installer with winrar. You have to extract InfiniteFusion.zip not open it through winrar

Hey @rain rock! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

also another hint .. since youre on onedrive, you should drag the entire game folder into your downloads folder .. onedrive messes up the game and random delete files/revert save files to a previous state or delete them entirely from your pc
