I did do some slight mess with my savefile directory, specifically using a junction to make it exist both in the normal spot, and outside of it so I can use onedrive to sync my save between my laptop and pc, but that was fine a while back when I originally did it

Since it is a hifi system, im assuming it isnt connected through a 3.5mm jack, but rather an UTP cat6+ cable. Try plugging in some simple headphones into the 3.5mm jack of your pc.

The game isnt recognising your audio gear (as we see sometime when people have usb audio gear, so maybe its also the case for UTP gear)

So, my dome fossil disappeared from my bag. I didn't revive it and I don't know where it went

I've never heard of a non-held item disappearing.
Make sure you:

• actually picked it up
• check pc, there is an item section there
• maybe accidentally gave it to a pokemon
• maybe already dropped it off at the museum but hasnt finished yet

in any case, you're not locked out of the pokemon. Fossils can drop from rock smashing stuff

Hi, I know this is a VERY weird question, but I use a program called auto hot key. I'm still new to it, so my code is not great and I've never really used it on any other game before so this is a new problem for me. I'm probably going to go to their community with the same problem, but I wanted to ask here since people here are very helpful.

Auto hot key is a program that changes the button inputs I was running simply "1::Send a", but pokemon infinite fusion shuts down auto hot key scripts once it's tabbed back into (also pressing f12 crashes the game o-o) does anyone know why it's doing this? I have a feeling it's a safety measure in the game to help block cheating and odd crashes, meaning there is likely nothing I can do. Despite this if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

Hey @river dawn! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Dang, you got the rare "i tried cheating, but didn't even do it right" - error message. instead of the anti-cheat message.
You can no longer add debug to the game through altering code anyway, even if you did it right. And I personally would not go around copying code I don't unstand from strangers on the internet and executing it on my PC.

Hey @mossy remnant! Are you having trouble starting the game? Here are a few common errors you might be experiencing:

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

unplug your internet modem/router for about 1-2 minutes
plug it back in
if possible use a hardwire ethernet connection between your pc and your modem/router
pause/stop any downloads you may have going on your pc
if you have something eating a lot of bandwidth [netflix] close it
try to make sure no one else in the hosue is eating up a ton of bandwidth

you can also try reaching out to your ISP and see about getting a better package [if possible]

The error doesn't lie.
It is possible that you normaly don't notice it dropping. Since many services don't care too much about drops of a couple packets and will just retry them.
I think this installer only does like a max of 2 retries (maybe even 0) for dropped packets and then cancels the install.

and for many services buffering is a thing, so if you connection drops for half a second and reconnects before the buffer runs out; you wont notice a thing (alse because thats too short of a time for the taskbar icon to show you dropped the connection)

the app install method has a bit better netcode from what i've heard, so that might be worth a try if it keeps dropping the lightweight install.

at least up to about 5.2 or so

whatever the last version was before we got the installer which yeeted the migration batch file

if it is older than 5.0 you'd be right

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

This worked literally 2 or 3 days ago, but now when I launch the game it does the opening cutscene and then black screens and eventually is stuck. I even checked for updates and redownloaded everything, but it's still doing this

Hey @unreal oracle! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.
