so if you have another os; you'd have to follow the pinned guide for your device

while we do have a direct download, [i.e., no installer just the game files as is], that is more regulated as a last ditch effort if all other normal install means fail

and that has no way of updating beyond completely deleting the files and downloading the new version when it comes out

I would suggest deleting the keybinding file so that the game creates a new one to kind of reset it. If it doesn't fix it, you need to remap your controls

Hey @analog parcel! Are you having trouble starting the game? Here are a few common errors you might be experiencing:

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @fading kraken! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

2. on the left where it says Windows Logs, expand that
3. then click Applications
4. Any row where the arrow is that says error means it is an error on your computer
5. Try opening your game with Event Viewer open to see if a new row is added with a RED circle that says Erorr instead of Information

Hey @grizzled moss! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.
