could anyone tell me why this happens every time i enter a new route or leave the route by entering a building and going back to the route, and how to fix it please? It can be temporarily fixed by saving and returning to the menu then loading the game back up, but once i go into a new location it happens again. I have a friend who i play this game with and she doesn’t have this issue, so i don’t know what the problem could be

Delete your game folder and redownload the one from this video. It has ALL the game files and ALL of the sprites in them. These files 100% work and are what we use to troubleshoot issues. If these files still give you issues, that means it is 100% something on your computer's end messing it up

I hope I'm in the right place to ask this: I fused sandshrew with munchlax and gave it Thick Fat as its ability. Then I got into a battle and a Powder Snow was super effective. I thought maybe I had picked the wrong ability when fusing, but when I looked in my party it said the ability was Thick Fat. Any idea what's going on there?

Hey @stray timber! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hello! I'm following the manual steps to importing the custom sprites to be able to play the pre-loaded version and I'm on Step 6. I have imported the Graphics folder into InfiniteFusion and have replaced any pre-existing files, but when I open Game.exe (or Game-default.exe) there is no black screen that I have to wait a while for nor is there a message saying thousands of sprites were imported. I don't want to miss a step so I haven't tried opening the Game-preloaded.exe file yet, but I am not sure if the process has done and I will be able to play the preloaded version without the crash. Would it be good for me to open Preloaded to check, or would this muck up the steps of importing the right sprites?

Thankfully running the Preloaded version now works! I think, after reading another old comment, the sprites just needed to be downloaded and replaced, no need for the message saying there wer ea thousand sprites imported to be sent in-game!

On Joiplay you long tap on the game icon and then choose Optimize Maps.
Wait for it to say “Press Enter to Exit”. It MUST say that.
IF the program crashes and closes before it says “Press Enter to Exit”, close other apps that are running, including ones running silently in the background. Try to optimize maps again.
If this doesn’t work your device is not compatible. This game is not made for Android at all, this is just a workaround to play it.There are no fixes for this if this doesn’t work

Hey @fiery geyser! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

So it is either your brother is lying to you or you got the game from an unauthentic source. That line of the code it is breaking on doesn't exist at all so that is why it is breaking for you.

Also shinies are rare so consistently getting that error getting shinies means you are somehow running into a lot of shinies which is not possible.

Delete your Data folder and rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE to revert your files to the base game to fix.

Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

I suggest you delete your Date folder (to clean out your bad data) and rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.

For some reason it says where you last left your character, that tile doesn't exist anymore. If doing the above doesn't fix, then yeah you might need to delete that save. Very odd for this to happen

In your game folder, you will see a file named "File A.rxdata" (assuming you saved in Slot A). You can transfer that to any device you want

On PC, when you install the game, there is a shortcut named SaveFile in your folder. Double click it and it takes you to your save folder. That is where you put the save file.

i'm playing on preload enabled. for the first 2h my game wasn't lagging or anything of that sort, but after my last save and reload there is a large delay between actions between trainers, or switching pokemon around in the menus
