A reinstall is probably the easiest.

Its not that large if you dont go crazy and immediately try to install all the sprites you see on discord.

the game auto-loads all the newest sprites while you play, if you have an internet connection

Weirdly enough, the issue seems to have resolved itself after restarting the game
Now when I tried encountering Magdrio again to see if the issue is still happening, the correct sprite appeared this time, I didnt even need to go to the update man.

There was a bug in 6.1 - 6.1.2 for pokemon showing the wrong sprite due to indexing and depending if they had custom sprites or not. If you talk to update man with 6.1.3 it attempts to fix these sprites

This issue is always when a user copies over a specific player trainer sprite, I forget which one. We get this extact issue commonly.

If you are getting this error and you didn't try changing a trainer sprite, I question where you got the files from because the one from our guide doesn't have this issue 🙂

This erorr just suggests a specific sprite got messed up which we see usually when users are changing out sprites. That is odd

I think the optimization needs to be done on the device to accurately optimize them to your screensize. But someone took 32 tries to get it to work. Keep trying

Hey @prisma kindle! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

That isn’t the correct location

When you double click the SaveFiles shortcut, it takes you to the save folder location. The save file can’t be in another folder

It has to be directly in: C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\infinitefusion

That is why. Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

Was about to play yesterday, no issues after a few work arounds with sprites not loading. Today, I can't even get the game to open. On any file (game, game - default, game - preloaded). It gets to the "infinite version" screen, says version 6.1.3 and then nothing happens.

Yeah, I've been through those. A shame. Not sure why I get to the this point twice now. Download, plays fine. Opens it for a few days. Day 3-4 it just absolutely stopped.

We have some credible reports of malware being in there, last one apparently a couple of weeks ago. Best to delete all those files and run a virus scan. There is a good chance you have nothing, but it's not worth the risk

yeah, so far ive heard you need 5.3.1.2 to run the installer to update ... so you need a fresh install

Hey @vast pagoda! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

yeah ... thats a bad idea, the game required the MAIN drive, install in your download folder, after installing you can move it to the D drive
