I was trying to get magic boots and when I went to the NPC with a complete Pokedex it just said something about breaking the 4th wall and that randomized mode was fun even though I don't have it turned on and when talking to different people in other channels I was told that talking to the update man and even just looking at the randomizer options would make me not able to get them but I did have to go to him to fix game one time ( I don't remember what for) and I guess at some point I just wanted to see the options for it and then I found out that talking to him stops you from getting magic boots

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".

heya, I am trying to update the game launcher. however when I press the update message it says that the game will be deleted and the updated version is downloaded. after it starts up again I get the same message saying it needs to be updated. Anyone know what I can do to fix this issue

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.

The game doesn't have controller support. When you connect a controller, it auto assigns buttons to the device, but the game only supports keyboard rebinding.

You can try deleting your keybinding file and have it auto generate a new one or use Steam/JoyToKey for better controller support.

I recently updated the game too, and initially the update had some issues which I asked about here but ultimately the game seemed to have successfully updated

Is it possible this may be due to some entirely file, like a game, I downloaded from somewhere else today?

and tbh my pc is lagging a bit more than usual, in case that may be related. But I get if you cant help on that matter, cuz there's a line between errors with the game and errors with the PC itself

This usually happens when you didn't get the authentic verison of the game or installing on top of an unauthentic version

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.

You tried to enable debug mode illegitimately in the scripts, that doesn’t work anymore. Delete the Data folder in the game folder and rerun the INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat file in the gamefolder

as for this issue you are having, it is 100% something on your end, there's not much we can do about it
things you can try [no guarantees it will work]

• reboot your internet modem/router [unplug it for a minute or two, plug it back in]
• use a hardwired ethernet connection between your pc and modem/router [much more stable and strong than wifi]
• pause or stop any programs that may be downloading something in the background
• close anything using large swaths of bandwitdh [i.e., netflix]
• try to make sure no one else on your network is using large swaths of bandwitdh [i.e., netflix]
• contact your ISP and see about getting a better package [newer modem/router, faster download and upload speeds, etc.]

Yeah that is due to performance of your PC as well. But yeah the workaround is to double click game-preloaded without the launcher to open preloaded.

The app assumes you want the complete set of sprites everytime because sprites can also cause crashes.

They get added to the repo with errors and they need fixes. Only way to get the fixes are downloading the sprite packs. So it is just how the game is designed unfortunately

Last sprite pack there were a good amount of sprites that were added with the wrong format crashing the game

Well, I re-downloaded the latest version and the sprite pack february 2024, I imported the folder that says, "InfiniteFusion-Installer" I clicked on that one, and it shows another folder called "Infinite Fusion", I clicked on THAT one, and it shows a folder containing "Game," "Graphics," etc. I imported the custombattlers folder into that Graphics folder, I added that Graphics folder in the game, and still no joke alts (i.e. Magma and Magma). And this is game is the latest one I downloaded from PokeCommunity

Am I doing this right, @blazing python ?

Or do I need to delete these folders and stick with the one from announcements section? 🙂
