I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but does anyone know how to "Add Pokemon" in debug mode? I want to use some of the newer pokemon added, but when I put the dex number in, such as 425 for Tyrunt, it gives me Charsaur instead.
I tried turning off randomizer settings, but that didn't work, either.

that is your issue, you are playing randomized

randomized reshuffles the pokemon's dex number

so your playthrough is unique and has its own dex numbers. So the normal ones won't work unfortunately

it shuffles them at the point where you randomize it. so you can start a classic/modern game and be fine. Just when you decide to randomize, that is where it gets all messed up

And navigate through the random numbered folders it creates, you will see the .exe there

well what you are describing is what happens when you downloaded the game from the fake website

this exact issue is what happens. Tyrunt's id = Charsaur because the ID mismatch in the fake files didn't get updated

So you would need to reinstall the game making sure you using the files from this discord in a new folder

Hey @latent mica! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Playing the game in general on a flashdrive degrades the performance for this game.

Also the sprites need to exist in your game folder for them to work. So you can't have the game on your main drive and the sprites on your flash drive for example

yeah that means something external reverted your save file. We have seen this from onedrive, but we saw already you don't have onedrive synching on your game folder.

The game doesn't have code to revert states of save files neither. Both your file C and D are like 4 minutes apart.

But very odd unless you did a windows update and it reverted to last save working state

yeah the issue is you moved your files out of the game folder. So you have to either revert them back or install the game again with the installation menu

Hey @slender shoal! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!
