Hey @honest dust! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @vale vector! This game is not made for mobile! The only workaround is to install JoiPlay, but any performance issues, bugs, or issues with Android are not fixable. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

This issue has existed even before I joined the server, but it is an audio device issue

You need to install the app NoMedia from Google Play Store

It will install a file named .nomedia into the folder you choose and it makes it so it ignore those folders to not add them to your gallery

When you install the game, that is wherever you want to put it that is the larger 2-3 gb file. But the app itself is very small

You don't need to unlink, you can just click Installation Menu and click Install Game. When you install it, it will update the linked folder for you

Hey @proper field! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

I wouldn't suggest preloaded anyways. it is mostly for ppl with performance issues. Offline is a bonus, but also has bugs with sprites the normal game doesn't have

Hey I just realized that I don't need the shortcut since it calls from roaming files. ALSO I needed to create a save to overwrite in the first place.

no, just extract the zipped folder and then simply run the setup from the extracted folder
dont drag something else in there
dont drag anything out of there

the setup just checks the files in the extracted folder, if you drag something in it checks that files and folders too

the app installer is just an easier way to start the game

and should be seperated 😄

Hey @scarlet imp! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

either you have "install_or_update.bat" in the game folder, then just run it.
if not, you might need to fresh install

the patch folder is just to optimize the maps, that has nothing to do with the sprites error you get

unfortunately i cant really help with that... the last option is downloading the preloaded sprites .. but thats totally NOT recommended because of the reasons above, it takes around 4gb and it spams your gallery with roughly 300k sprites
