Since you're not running the game natively on steam deck, performance will be slightly worse than pc in most cases. But in my experience there are no major issues.

If you're comfortable, you can play around with powertools. But I wont give any advice on that in case you brick anything

Hey @marsh pilot! This game is not made for mobile! The only workaround is to install JoiPlay, but any performance issues, bugs, or issues with Android are not fixable. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

In windows if you are on version 5.0 or higher there should be a folder named "SaveFiles" in your game folder

But it's just a shortcut to where the saves are actually stored

Since they are not actually in your game folder you can just delete the game folder without losing the save files

Reopen the game on JoiPlay and select the "Choose" button this time. Select the RPG Maker XP file and it should work.

delete your game folder, your save file will be unaffected as long as its newer than 5.1, its stored somewhere else on your pc and after installing you can continue that file

Hey @dense robin! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

You should try adding the installer folder to your Window's Defender: Add the entire PokemonInfiniteFusionInstaller folder to Windows Defender's exclusions: Link

So, some news on this. The game runs, albeit pretty badly, the music plays just fine. However, there's so frame skip and a lot of input latency. Even after optimizing the maps through joiplay, the RG353V still has map problems.

It is an Android thing. By default if there is a nomedia file in a folder, your Android skips that folder from adding any media to your gallery

This is just a hunch, but I think I remember it took a long time to load as well because it was downloading custom sprites. If you have a slow Internet connection it might be taking a long time to finish. Someone who's more experienced can probably help you better though.

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

I have one quick question, I just installed the mobile version of the game using the links provided. Starting up the game it informs me that a newer version of the game is available. The zip file installed was for version 5.3.1.2. However on the same download page there is a file labeled "6_0_2_joiplay.zip". Is that a more updated version of the game or is the one I currently have the most updated version for mobile? (Sorry for the long message)

Hey @neon wigeon! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Hey @neon wigeon! This game is not made for mobile! The only workaround is to install JoiPlay, but any performance issues, bugs, or issues with Android are not fixable. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

missing sprites ... means your internet had a seizure for a moment .. usually fixed by going to ingame options - turn "download missing sprites" to off - leave the menu - open the menu again - turn "download missing sprites" back to on
