Hey @sturdy jasper! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @sterile pivot! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

i used an application by chris titus to completely remove onedrive, since I've had so many issues with it in the past which worked great for a while until I had to make a change with regedit and suddenly windows decided it had the permission to reinstall onedrive again lmao

yeah it should be good now. the bigger issue was that when it reinstalled, it turned syncing back on so it stole a bunch of my files and i had to get them back before disabling it again

Nope. The code to install the game is literally like downloading the game from google drive. It just downloads the files to your folder. That wouldn't cause BSOD

Preloaded is an "optimized" version of the game if your computer can't handle the normal game.

It preloads all of the sprites from your local computer vs taking it from the internet. It isn't our recommended way to play, but it is our way of allowing users with lower end PCs or unstable internet to play the game.

Hey @spice bison! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Most of the times when people report this, it is because they actually haven’t restarted the computer in a while. Not the shutdown option, but actually restarting. Shut down only puts your computer to sleep or hibernate.

Also, the more you play, the more Pokemon you have in your pc. More Pokemon = more lag especially since the game is calculating data every time you hover over one of them

Yeah, we’ve noticed people who have smaller boxes or organize them to two or three rows have better PC performance. Also you can turn off fusion sprites to increase performance. This makes it so you see a DNA symbol on fusions in your party and PC

Your save will not be touched and is still compatible if it's version 5.1 or higher. Just delete your whole game. Your save is not in there.

you have in your game folder a "savefiles" folder, open it and delete the files inside

delete your game folder, your save file will be unaffected as long as its newer than 5.1, its stored somewhere else on your pc and after installing you can continue that file

tho, the game should download them as you play .. probably a short internet time out
