Your computer seems odd. Apparently those NV files come from nvidia itself, so you might have graphic driver problems.

To change a Pokemon's sprite to an alternative one, go to their Pokedex entry (this can be done from their summary screen) and go to the "Sprites" tab. Here you can scroll through the different available sprites.

You can change sprites from the pokedex with the above video, but this will not allow you to swap the sprites unless you do it manually from the files

Hey @tired ether! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Just wanted to ask which, if any, flags/variables I can edit in debug mode to turn off the use of HMs when I don't have them or the required badges.
I use debug mode quite a lot to get rare candies and fusion items, but I have been resorting to just turning it off in order to play the rest of the game as intended. If there's something I can edit to just make that part like in a regular playthrough I'd appreciate the knowledge 🙂

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey @rocky meteor! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

1. you get the error/crash from clicking/pushing buttons on the screen while it is loading. Be patient

2. That screen is where it is loading especially if you just imported sprites. Be patient

3. These loads are a direct reflection of your PC. The speed depends on your computer.

No unfortunately. If you go to in game settings, there is an auto save option. If you set it to No and then back to Yes, it gives you options of when it tries to auto save

you sure you extracted the files? This tends to be the case when:

1. You didn't extract the files
2. You tried opening it before it was done downloaded. Redownload the zip and extract again
3. Your anti virus is blocking it

1. if you left download sprites turned on instead of off
2. you accidentally didn’t open game-preloaded.exe
3. your computer needs a restart. Not shut down, restart. Shut down only makes your computer sleep/hibernate.

I am playing the game though Steam for controller support and use a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. When I press F1 and try to rebind the Controls it doesn't recognize the face buttons for rebinding but does recognize the control stick. Is there any other way to rebind controls?

The game does not support rebinding controllers. You have to do it through Steam itself through its options not the game. You are essentially remapping your controller not rebinding keys for the game.
