when you add sprites to your game, you get black screen because that is where it is processing sprites. This is by design. You have to leave the game open and wait since those sprite packs have thousands and thousands of sprites

Yeah you should update. In your game folder should be INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

Hey @quasi leaf! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

if you plan to keep using game-preloaded the only other things you can try would be:

• turn off the download sprites option; this will actually impact game performance on the preloaded application, as you don't need it on; you already have all the sprites downloaded
• change fusion icons to dna symbols

if neither of these help, and using game preloaded still results in long load times in the areas you had them before, it is 100% your PC that is the issue

Yeah don't get mistaken, while it isnt a gaphically hard game to run it is loading and sorting through more than 300.000 files for the right ones.

After explaining my loading time issues, I install the sprite installer, and after the setup, all the sprites from november to december are completely gone (I checked, for example all the evolution line from bulbasaur/swablu to venusaur/altaria, which I downloaded manually, was gone but it exists in the gallery, so the installer SHOULD download them right ?)

Hey @fathom forge! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow and glitchy.

Basically the only optimizations you can make is use the sprite installer to download all of the sprites up front. Use game-preloaded if you have to. If those 2 things don't work, you need to make computer upgrades

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

I got auto save confused with something else. Auto save will just save on top of your save file. I thought it would create a backup which it does not do. Just to clarify what I said earlier.

whenever I try to hatch an egg, I get this error. I'm using the latest version. I imported the most recent sprite pack into the graphics foler, and also installed the sprite pack from the launcher because I noticed missing files. Those are the only occurence of events I think would effect this, and what I can even manage to remember doing

The egg sprites are only installed when installing the game initially. They are not in the custom sprite packs. How many items do you have in this folder: \Graphics\Battlers\Eggs?

When you open the folder, it tells you how many items on the bottom left of the folder

1. Go to the Pokemon Center
2. Talk to Update man
3. Go to Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings
4. In here turn off randomized trainers
5. Reshuffle the trainers at the end of his dialogue
6. You can now turn back on your randomized trainers and continue normally.

Yeah after you import sprites it takes time to process all of them so that is why you got black screen. But glad everything worked out!

The only thing I can really recommend at this point is Avoid OneDrive: If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off, as the game lags with OneDrive.

Yeah that's not all the sprites, go in your menu and go to options. Turn on auto download sprites. It will give them to you as you encounter the mons.

Yeah, I could see that. I know when you turn all the fusion sprites to dna icons it also helps. Either way it's because it's loading all the sprites per box, the less mons the less load it is on your cpu.

This says there is a save file corrupting the game. You will have to delete the save sadly.

The laptop crashing likely corrupted your save, now that save is causing these problems.
