I get updates periodically in the launcher. Should I reinstall it?

Hey guys, I've recently started playing infinite fusion, everything was fine until today. Majority of pokemon show as a question mark, I've allowed for sprites to be downloaded automatically and I have the version 6.0.4, any advice?

Reset your sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in the setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your game, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

Essentially you are timing out getting sprites from the server

Hey @oak flint! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow and glitchy.

In general the game doesn’t really have controller support. That is why ppl use steam or JoyToKey on PC to get it to work properly. For Android I figure it might be a hassle to work as well 😅

So we are having a long loading time (~30s) with loading pc boxes, using items like a rare candy, and pokemon menu. Is there a possible fix for this?

1. The performance of the Game **largely **depend on your pc and internet. Most Laptops are **struggling **because of the 6.x update. Old computers struggle too.
2. If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
3. Best way to reduce lag is downloading sprites yourself. The more sprites you have, the less it needs to connect to the internet to download them.

• The optimized version of the game is "game-preloaded" but this requires you to download **ALL **the sprites using our Sprite Importer, not the monthly sprites -> https://github.com/x-megaman/InfiniteFusionPreloaded/releases/

4. If the game is still slow after using game-preloaded, you need to make computer upgrades.

Hey @undone hornet! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

The game doesn’t have controller support. The best it does is try to assign your controller to the game, but it is very flaky. Ppl tend to add the game to steam as a non steam game to get controller support

Sometimes the popular ones you see are alternate sprites, they can be changed in the pokedex through the mon's summary. If you still don't see it try reversing the fusion

I'm not seeing that in #sprite-gallery or either of the calculator sites so it's likely not an actual sprite in the game. You'll have to add it manually by putting it in game folder/graphics/CustomBattlers/customBaseSprites. Its currently named to be the primary sprite for Sandslash

I recently had the long loading screen bug appear from time to time where theres just a black screen when I launch the game, and I just had to wait.
But now, since a week or two, the game takes a lot of time loading either :

Generating a sprite that is not custom when I'm about to make a new fusion
Loading the game
Loading saves
And it gets very annoying. I did not modify the game in anyway apart from adding new custom sprites, and I use the launcher in 5.0.
Does anyone know why or know how to fix it ?

Reset your sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in the setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your game, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

Hey @tender osprey! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @molten lantern! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow and glitchy.

Nothing can likely be done about issues experienced on mobile, unfortunately, but you must use the plugin versions listed in the guide or else it won't work at all.

no it doesn't. The game will try to auto assign controllers the best it can, but you cant remap any buttons

people tend to use 3rd party apps to remap controllers or add the game to steam as a non steam game for better controller support

I haven't played the game in a long time. I've decided to come back and downloaded the newest version of the game. It recognized my old save data, but I've noticed that basically every pokemon in my PC and even the fusion my rival uses to start the game is all the question mark icons. Is it supposed to be that way or is something wrong?

I had download pokemon infinte fusion a few mouths ago after playing it I deleted it and empty my recycle bin. I've just tried downloading the game again and when I click any key nothing happens. no play game button file or any of the exe files.

Reset your sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in the setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your game, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

Yeah, they need to uninstall the plug-ins before installing. Trying to override the plug-in doesn’t work.
