Okay, yes. It's definitely an exfat issue. I formatted a cheap 120gb sata external with ext4 and copied IF to it and ran it, no issues.

It seems to have some issues indexing a large number of files that ext4 (and likely ntfs) doesn't.

You need to reset your sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your game, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

I'm asking how you know and have you confirmed it works on some devices and not others. Screen shots etc or do people just not realise these things are missing and think it's fine cause it says the right version on the start screen.

Because people come here to install the game using the guide and then they start playing just fine. This issue started happening more as the JoiPlay tileset issue started happening. That is when we have been getting reports for JUST android users about missing 6.x features in 6.4. Then I helped a person extensively and found it was the patch messing up the game

But as the bot mentions, this game doesn't support Android so there isn't much to do about it to try and get it to work from the dev side.

Your onedrive might not be synching your game folder so you might be ok. I suggest for you just leave it alone for now unless you have issues. But in general recommended to not be in a onedrive folder.

no, as long as the mons exist in the version, the game will grab it

it won't download stuff it can't use

the only way that would happen is if you are manually adding packs

as an example, they released some sprite packs that had stuff for new mons while the update that brought them in wasn't out yet, so the sprites would sit in the custom battler folder unused

once the update came out; the game went "oh hey, I can use these now"

the file that says it is missing is a customBaseSprite. Not a fusion sprite. This file is included in the UpdatesSprites.zip. As I said, if the game is complaining you are missing this file, this means you placed the sprites in the wrong folder or didn't follow the 10 steps of the instructions
