Hey @ocean plank! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

1. The performance of the Game **largely **depend on your pc and internet. Most Laptops are **struggling **because of the 6.x update. Old computers struggle too.
2. If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
3. Best way to reduce lag is downloading sprites yourself. The more sprites you have, the less it needs to connect to the internet to download them.

• The optimized version of the game is "game-preloaded" but this requires you to download **ALL **the sprites from the pinned instructions on the top right of the tech support channel. Click the Shortcut -> #tech-support message

4. If the game is still slow after using game-preloaded, you need to make computer upgrades.

Hey @radiant garden! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

So me and my friend just downloaded the installer for the first time. I had absolutely zero issues with getting it set up, and downloading the game. However, he has followed the exact same steps I have, and cant seem to get the launcher to install the game. The launcher will take a really long time to install the game, but at some midway point through the install, it will give him an error message. Something about files not being able to be located. He's tried uninstalling the launcher and setting it up again, older launchers, and even restarting his PC, but the same thing will happen. His internet is just as good as mine, so it has nothing to do with that.

the base of PIF is RPG Maker XP. to be precise, it's Pokemon Essential from Maruno, which is a RMXP project.
at least it has origins in Essential v19 and v20, however Essential documentation will not help you with infinite fusion, because infinite fusion's base was so heavily modified that the Pokemon Essential code is not recognizable.

Yeah internet stability is the #1 reason the launcher doesn’t work for people. The launcher code just tries once and if it fails, it fails. You can only try again if you delete the whole launcher folder to try again

Hi, I'm playing a Randomized Modern run, and supposedly I have static encounters randomized, but no matter how many times I reshuffle wild encounters, on the Groudon and Ho-gia events I always get Groudon and Ho-gia, without randomization. I'm playing 6.0.4, I can confirm on former versions that the Kanto birds were randomized, but these are the only encounters I've tried on the new version. Has anyone faced something similar?

Well, I followed these instructions, and... I think the download failed. Here's a screenshot of what was up when it finished. I can say, there's no game file in the folder, just the updater installer.

I don't know enough about what I'm doing to interpret that text, just that my internet sucks, and I have tried and failed multiple times to get this game.

That is only one. Not sure who even wrote the patch. That has just been the fix for graphics for a long time on Android. But the game no longer uses patches so probably no newer ones

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

1. The performance of the Game **largely **depend on your pc and internet. Most Laptops are **struggling **because of the 6.x update. Old computers struggle too.
2. If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
3. Best way to reduce lag is downloading sprites yourself. The more sprites you have, the less it needs to connect to the internet to download them.

• The optimized version of the game is "game-preloaded" but this requires you to download **ALL **the sprites from the pinned instructions on the top right of the tech support channel. Click the Shortcut -> #tech-support message

4. If the game is still slow after using game-preloaded, you need to make computer upgrades.

You need to reset your sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your close, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

The installation of the game and sprites don’t like onedrive

You have to move it out to a path without onedrive and somewhere with permissions. Desktop is usually the best place or AppData/Roaming/ launcher path

People with this issue had to reinstall their game. Not sure why the issue occurs, but when loading a save with this issue, we found it was an installation issue somewhere

No you have to transfer it manually

But it is just 1 file so pretty easy to do if you need help

The game files can be transferred no prob though, but the save file has to be in a specific location

Alright so I re-installed, cause I thought it would fix this issue, but it doesn't seem to be

I'm playing Modern mode, Hard Difficulty, BUT, I turned on some randomizer aspects at the Pokemon Center (I randomized everything besides Wild Pokemon). Could tha randomized aspect be what's killing me?

Update: Turning randomizer off immediately fixed it, so it has something to do with the fact that I'm trying to randomize all trainers?

Hey guys, this isn't so much me asking for support but more just letting the dev's know (if they don't already)

The newest version of the game seems to have a bug where fusions can't breed even with Ditto, unless this is a new feature I'm not sure what's going on.

I was on 5.3 before, and could breed a golurk/ambipom fusion with ditto.
Now at the current version after updating it today, none of the fusions will breed with Ditto. I've tried: Golurk/Feraligatr, Golurk/ambipom, Golurk/Venusaur.
And to note, after I unfused them Ditto would breed with either of the fusions from any of those without any issue.

Hey @tall flint! Are you having trouble starting the game? Here are a few common errors you might be experiencing:

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Don't use the launcher atm. It's broken for most people. Follow the instructions in the pins to install with the alt installer. Your save will be fine. It's not stored in the same place at the game.

Hello.. I just followed the instructions to download the game to my steam deck.. but for some reason when I launch the game, it's like an endless load screen that just shows different fusions over and over.. I can't seem to actually play the game

1. The performance of the Game **largely **depend on your pc and internet. Most Laptops are **struggling **because of the 6.x update. Old computers struggle too.
2. If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
3. Best way to reduce lag is downloading sprites yourself. The more sprites you have, the less it needs to connect to the internet to download them.

• The optimized version of the game is "game-preloaded" but this requires you to download **ALL **the sprites from the pinned instructions on the top right of the tech support channel. Click the Shortcut -> #tech-support message

4. If the game is still slow after using game-preloaded, you need to make computer upgrades.

Hey I just wanted to give you a heads up. I figured out what was causing the issues. It was my version of KIF. It was before the cave update. Caused by the cave pngs having capitalized letters.
