4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your close, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Still no luck. I found a fusion of sandslash and geodude, unfused it, took it to battle, nothing loaded. Tried fusing my geodude with a pidgey. Nothin. Tried taking the Geogey into battle. Still nothin. Last ditch effort I'll try restarting my game see if it loads more sprites

Trying to get the game running on Steam Deck. I've followed the instructions both on the wiki and in the linked video and the game fails to launch (it just goes to the steam logo for a few seconds then reverts to the library). I followed all the steps; downloaded the .rar file, extracted it and moved it to the desktop, downloaded q4wine and protonup-qt, installed proton via protonup, added game.exe to steam, forced compatibility mode. Hit play, steam logo pops up with the spinning circle around it, spins a couple of times, reverts to the library screen.

And I have plenty of free space (137 GB), so it's nothing to do with that.

So I just installed the game. I don't really live in an area with good internet, so I chose the option to install the sprite package with the install. However, after finishing the install, whenever I click the "Play" button, the launcher will close and re-open in a matter of milliseconds before nothing happens.

After doing research there is a Steam Deck bug for a small amount of users where right clicking a game and adding to Steam is sometimes classifying it as a Steam game vs non Steam game. You should remove the game from steam and add it specifically using this option

Tried this, it still didn't work. I was able to get the game running by downloading the launcher and doing it that way, though. It had its own trials and tribulations (steam deck really, really doesn't like to display the launcher graphics or the installation window), but at least it works now.

You can try to force a new sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your close, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

You just run that INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat, it updates the files in the folder they are in. Or you can do it fresh in a new folder. Your save file isn't touched at all so that is why installing fresh is easiest to do

the launcher is broken right now for most ppl. Only way to fix is delete the entire launcher folder and reinstall. But I recommend using our other installation method since it is more stable

I need help, i did an update and am playing with a file that was never randomized. A message came up with somehting along the lines of the wild encounter randomizer had a problem and needs to be reset. Is this normal? also when i go to the guy in the pokemon center and ask him to "reshuffle wild pokemon" the conformation message is "reshuffle pokedex?" is this going to mess up my file? i only wish for the wild pokemon encounters to be where they should be in their inteded places so i can look up where to get something.
