alright so i fused necrozma and arceus together to make necroceus, and when it transforms into ultra necroceus (with the necrozium thingy), with "download sprites over internet" turned off, the sprite is just a big question mark, and when I turned the option on, the sprite defaulted to the japeal sprite. I've already downloaded the custombattlers sprite pack and all that, can someone help me figure out how to make the custombattler sprite appear instead of japeal?

i was told in the game-help channel that ultra necroceus wouldn't appear in the pokedex because it's a in-battle transformation (and ultra necroceus and regular necroceus seemed to have the same dex number when i checked ultra necroceus's summary during battle), but i'll try again and see if i can find it. i'll let you know if i can't find it

Get this error when starting up the game after customizing settings. Got a similar one (didn't get a snip of it) but, game crashed when getting out of the PC and trying to save. The only other things you can do if preloaded still lags on you is to go to the options menu and turn off "download sprites" and change icons from "combined" to "DNA".

If it still lags after all of that. 🤷‍♀️

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

That will mess it up yes. It is 300,000 images. Windows built in extractor sucks when it comes to big files like that.

there are smaller sprite packs, but doesn't contain everything in #downloads. They won't solve your issue of seeing a lot of question marks

You might need to force a new sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your close, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

You might need to force a new sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your close, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.

Just fyi the launcher is buggy. There is no way to resize the window. It should let you drag using the black bar on top. But if it isn’t working for you our other installation method is more stable

2. If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
3. Best way to reduce lag is downloading sprites yourself. The more sprites you have, the less it needs to connect to the internet to download them.

• The optimized version of the game is "game-preloaded" but this requires you to download **ALL **the sprites from the pinned instructions on the top right of the tech support channel. Click the Shortcut -> #tech-support message

4. If the game is still slow after using game-preloaded, you need to make computer upgrades.

From what I recall, you are using preloaded, installed UpdatesSprites.zip and have download sprites turned off correct?

Just to let you know, not EVERY pokemon has a sprite for it yet. New pokemon were added in 6.0 so those sprites are missing from the preloaded files.

There is also a bug where you need to restart your game to see fusion sprites for those new pokemon as well in your party. Bug -> https://discord.com/channels/302153478556352513/1180598056404664350

These things will only be solved once we get sprites for them. Sprites come out at the end of every month, but it isn't guaranteed the sprite for those pokemon will be in there neither.

I hit 'Enter' like it said, but then when I hit it again to scroll through the text after it said "x number of custom sprites have been added", a pop up appeared that said smth about new keybinds or smth, and then the rest of what was supposed to happen just SKIPPED-

Just to confirm, which folders did you move?

Wait- Nvm, ig apparently those steps were skipped, but I can play preloaded rn anyways-

Oh ok, yeah I mean if preloaded didn't give you an error anymore, it is likely it worked

It just depends if you see sprites of pokemon now

Alr, thank god. Hopefully I don't run into any more errors, cuz I do NOT want to wait another half an hour just for these sprites to get moved. Also, to answer your previous question, I moved the 'Graphics' folder from the extracted 'UpdatesSprites' folder to the 'Infinite Fusion' folder just like the guide said. Only thing that didn't happen cuz it got skipped was me confirming to replace the sprites in game

Do you see 480 folders?

Yeah it is very hard to help without that. If you press Repair game on the launcher btw, it breaks your game due to a Launcher bug

There's a random file called .gitkeep after the 480th folder tho, is that normal?

Yup that is expected! and in here: \Graphics\CustomBattlers

do you see just this?

Yep, all 3 of those files are there

Most ppl can't tell it is fake until they reach 6.x content because the fake files don't have them
