Hey @primal spire! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Those aren’t the sprites you need for preloaded. Those are just custom sprites you downloaded.

If you want to play preloaded, you have to get the sprites from this channel not anywhere else

I was able to play this some time ago, when I tried playing recently I get this error when i'm on the start up screen where I would press start to get to the main menu. I did a reinstall, and then reinstalled using the downloaded installer. Any ideas?

@blazing python Ok so from what I can see, I understand how to now transfer an old save file to the new game or game exe, but just confirming that there is no way for me to share a save file between both without constantly moving it back and forth on desktop mode

yes there is. it is the same way i explained how to update your game. I say not to remove the game from steam, but instead edit the properties to point to the new folder/file.

you would do that to switch back and forth between game.exe and game-preloaded.exe. That allows you to just have 1 folder for your save

so if you want to change from preloaded and regular, make the change here and it will save the save folder location

Hi I tried to download the Linux version but it just gives the same files as the windows version, without dependencies like .net 6.0 did you expect people to run it through wine? Was it an error? Did I not download the correct files?

1. Launcher requires a windows package to work correctly. I don't think it will work for linux without some workarounds, but we don't have a guide for that.

So I originally posted this in the wrong place but I tried to fuse these two during a brief time that I had lost internet and it showed both sprites as just the outline of the sprite on the right. After getting internet back, one sprite was fixed but the one I had already fused stayed at the ball with a question mark in it. I've tried downloading the sprite pack and putting the customerbattlers into the graphics folder but the sprite still stays the same. I'm not sure how else I can try to fix this

Hey @pure geyser! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

reset your sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

if the sprite doesn't come back immediately, save, close the game and reopen

Yeah that is the standard fix for this issue. The reason you didn’t get a sprite from the sprite pack is because there are no custom sprites for noibat. So you are missing the auto gen from it but that comes from the internet

If you go to Graphics/Battlers/394, is there an image for 394.440?

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

• The performance of the Game depends on your pc and internet. Most Laptops are struggling because of the 6.x update. Old computers struggle too.
• If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
• Try "game-preloaded" to play the game but this requires you to download all the sprites from the pinned instructions on the top right of this channel.

Performance Tips:

What Can You Do To Increase Performance?
1) PC & Internet: Performance largely depends on your PC and internet; laptops & older computers are struggling with the 6.x update. Black screens are loading screens & duration depends on your computer.

As of 6.4, players reported black screen & transitions between battles that are taking over 30 seconds and minutes. Their internet is working fine and no issues, but once they turn off Download Data from in game (& some also had to unplugged Ethernet/wifi), everything loaded instantly. Give it a try.

2) RESTART your computer: We are not talking about Shutting Down your computer, but actually Restarting it. Shutting down only puts your computer to sleep/hibernate. Restarting your computer will actually restart a lot of processes that have slowed down your computer. This fix black screen issues when the game was working fine before.

3) Use DNA Icons for Fusions: PC Boxes (not overall PC storage) and Parties with multiple fused Pokémon can cause lag. Enable DNA Icons for Fusions in your game options to improve performance and fix missing Pokémon icons on Performance Mode.

4) Avoid OneDrive: It breaks save files, corrupts sprites, and reverts data. We recommend to install the game in your Downloads folder as OneDrive does not sync there by default.

5) Install on your Main Drive: USB and external hard drives cause many slowness and permission issues.

6) Turn Off Full Screen: From in game options, change the screen size from Full Screen to M instead. Then drag the corners to make the game size larger. Using the full screen option strains your GPU.

7) Open Performance: Instead of opening the file Game, open Game-performance. This will have a longer start up time (long black screen when opening) but faster in game performance once you are in game.

**8) Upgrades **If the game is still slow after using game-performance, you need to make computer upgrades.

it doesn't update any other folder

so if you want to update your launcher files, you need to run INSTALL_OR_UPDATE in the folder it is currently in

So, I am playing Modern Mode with level caps, but my level cap is not going up to the gym leaders ace, but actually to one level lower than their lowest mon. I am not the greatest at this game, and am not wanting to use cheese, so those extra few levels would help a lot! Any information or help anyone could give would be nice. Thank you!
