and started the pre loaded

when i looked in the files

i couldn't find the sprites for the fusions

The images get sorted into different folders. That is the purpose of opening Game.exe

They are in Graphics/CustomBattlers/indexed

Hi, I have a question and hope that someone with way more tech knowledge than I have, can answer it for me.
I have just visited the game suggestions channel. I wanted to know, if its possible to add more regions to the game. There is an automated message attached there, that answers some faq...mine was one of them, and it says, that the game is already near its map limit and it can't be done...since I have absolutely no idea how programming works, I don't understand what that means....
I mean, a game can be as big as the programmer wants, no? Can't they just add another map thats not available until the players finish the first one? One that can only be reached by train for example?
I love this game, I really really do! And more regions would be sooo awesome...please someone tell me its possible that this might still be happening tired_facepray

Technically yes, but also within the bounds of the engine itself. This game is written with a game engine that can only handle so much. That is why in 6.0 a lot of code had to be rewritten to even allow more pokemon to be added to the game so that the engine can properly handle it.

So can more be added, yes, but with only 1 dev and needing to consider the already massive scope of the number of pokemon in game, it isnt straight forward.

But it all depends on the vision for the game from the dev which I do not know what that is. There isn't a visible roadmap anywhere for that

Hey @flint saffron! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Just a reminder: There is NO official website for the game. Most BUGS and SLOWNESS issues are coming from fake downloads.

• The performance of the Game depends on your pc and internet. Most Laptops are struggling because of the 6.x update. Old computers struggle too.
• If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
• Try "game-preloaded" to play the game but this requires you to download all the sprites from the pinned instructions on the top right of this channel.
• If the game is still slow after using game-preloaded, you need to make computer upgrades.

How do I change a sprite image myself?

1. Make sure your game is closed first.
2. Go to this path: \Graphics\CustomBattlers\indexed
3. This is the path where your Pokemon are stored IF you’ve encountered them.
4. Bulbasaur + ivysaur sprite is in the folder named 1 with the name 1.2.png. 5. It is their dex numbers starting with the dex number of the “Head” pokemon.
5. If you want to change that specific fusion sprite, replace the sprite with your image and name it 1.2.png.

Hello I've joined the discord to see if someone can help me, I downloaded the game not so long ago and it has severe frame drops and crashes every now and then after a fight/capture/looking into the pokedex. On top of that the sound is gone and reinstalling it does not fix it.

I've tried:
-Reinstalling in different paths
-Reinstalling Launcher as well
-Changing windows size
-Removing sprite downloads
-Turning on and off debug mode

Literally nothingI do fixes lags, long loading times or crashes as well as sound being gone

Hey @exotic cliff! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Just a reminder: There is NO official website for the game. Most BUGS and SLOWNESS issues are coming from fake downloads.

• The performance of the Game depends on your pc and internet. Most Laptops are struggling because of the 6.x update. Old computers struggle too.
• If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
• Try "game-preloaded" to play the game but this requires you to download all the sprites from the pinned instructions on the top right of this channel.
• If the game is still slow after using game-preloaded, you need to make computer upgrades.

A majority of the lag for this game is not having the right set up and not having all of the sprites. So you removing the sprites makes it slower actually

I think you just need to reset the sprite pull as long as you are connected to the internet

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in setting inside the game.
2. Leave the menu (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

Because you just downloaded the game, there are no sprites. so you need to have them populate over again

Backwards compatibilty on saves wouldn't work since there are things in 6.x that don't exist in 5.x that would break your game

That's either an issue with your computers specs or Internet. Some people solve performance issues by pre-downloading all the sprites and playing the game offline through the game-preloaded exe, but you have to follow the guide pinned in here

My personal preference is to play this game with Game.exe with download sprites on + UpdatesSprites.zip uploaded to my game. Less sprite issues because not all of the pokemon have sprites in the game yet

pokemon party icons only go up to 420, so that is why they are missing and need a restart to get
