If you still have the previous version, just run INSTALL_OR_UPDATE from your game folder. That will update your game to the newest version.

When updating from an older version 5.x to a newer 6.x, it seems to be better to just reinstall fresh in a new folder since Updating/reinstalling/even deleting your game folder doesnt delete your save

1. When updating from 1.6.3 to 1.6.4, the prompt that says there is an update to the launcher is resetting Game Path to Null. Making the user's prior installation of the game not used. Better to install 1.6.4 fresh

2. Uninstalling the launcher is not uninstalling or removing the launcher files from your computer.

3. Pressing Repair Game is deleting the entire InfiniteFusion folder completely and not reinstalling. Just deleting the whole game.

OneDrive only syncs certain folders by default. I haven't found a way to exclude anything specific from a folder configured to sync. C:/ or your user folder are fine. Avoid Program Files, that causes a bunch of "permission denied" errors.

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

Ever since I downloaded the update introducing the new Pokemon, none of the fusion sprites have been appearing. When I checked the files, the entire custom battlers folder seemed to be missing. How do I fix this?

The installer doesn’t install any sprites at all that is why you don’t see any files there as well. Custom battler is also only created once you play the game

You could try resetting your sprite pull:

Turn off Download Sprites option in setting inside the game.
Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
Go back to Settings.
Turn option back on.

Hey @swift kindle! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey @gray harbor! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

This is what happens now. Everything was perfectly fine, then i beated the champion and the game freezed on the after match black screen. I've searched online and found that it could have been a problem with rpg maker and that ppl solved it downloading a previous version. So i've uninstalled my old one and installed that one and boom, everything fine and i'm at pallet town again. After that, this is what's happening tho :/ tried the debug guy in the pkmn center to reset the game but nothing

After it i tried with an older save.. same thing, so it's not the save that is corrupted, but something related to joiplay and rpg maker i guess. Even tried to load a save i had on the 5.1.3.2 version and same problem again :/ should i uninstall and reinstall joiplay and rpg maker from zero? The game downloads sprites on its own as you play

You only need to add sprites if you need to play offline or want to play preloaded due to the normal game lagging

And even then, you don't want that sprite pack. You need the one from the pinned messages here in #tech-support

I am getting this error when challenging the elite 4, I've tried reshuffling the randomizer, the "fix game" option and restarting. I checked on another save file (also randomized) and this error isn't happening. What can I do to fix this?

Hi! I started my run of infinite fusion on PC on 5.1.3.3 & I'd like to continue the save I started on android, the version I have is the joyplay 6.0.2. I pasted File_A.rxdata file in the root of the folder but it seems it's not recongnized, I think I'm missing something regarding how saves works between PC & joyplay, there's a "savefile.ink" file in the joyplay version, do I need to do something with my .rxdata file to match it with the savefile.ink or something?

The last part i could try is using an old rpg maker for the elite4 and champion.. even if it may be bugged.. and then uninstall and use a new one for the rest of the game?

the rpg maker listed in the doc is the exact same version that fixes the elite 4 issue

so if you using a different one, this all matters

multiple people in that thread I linked you provided this android solution that they tested themselves. If you have issues with the versions they specifically provided, reply in the thread because they said they tried multiple combos and it only worked using the ones they listed
