Hey @dusty plover! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

The only way to update the game from the launcher is from using the settings button on the top right. Then clicking on troubleshoot then click on repair game. warning though this does delete your sprites

What is Game (dynamic) vs Game-preloaded (preloaded)?
Game is if you want to download sprites over the internet as you encounter them but slower performance. Nothing additional needed to play this.
Game-preloaded is if you download all the sprites on your computer but faster performance. Sprites are REQUIRED to play this without errors.

I prefer preloaded personally. Most users can't run Game anyways cause they using old computers or laptops so preloaded is better on performance

I've got an issue with "chugging" on certain parts of the game. Moving fused pokemon in my PC between cells(but only the ones I've fused myself?) takes noticeably longer. Additionally, moving through tiles that have a chance to spawn pokemon (tall grass, water, etc) has a similar effect. I have a similar issue going between zones but its not as noticeable. Otherwise, I don't experience any framerate issues. Is this a known issue that I can fix?

The launcher right now actually deletes the entire folder and reinstall. So if you had any sprites, it would’ve deleted them anyways due to a bug.

Hi guys, I'm having trouble installing the game with the new installer 😦 Hoping someone can help me

I downloaded the new installer for windows. I load up the installer and I hit install, targetting a folder outside of my main drive (I've tried using my main drive as well, but I prefer the non-main one). The Preparation bar appears but does not load at all. After about a minute, the whole launcher closes with no report or anything

I've tried enabling the console for troubleshooting but nothing appears in the console

I've also tried running as administrator, no change

Yeah, the fix for this bug is in the newer versions. 6.0.3 to be exact. after you update, you have to go to the Pokémon center from there. Talk to update Man and select fix game. That fixes the Pokémon radar.

Yeah an unintended check of 6.x. All the fake files have this egg issue. There are other checks as well like the RGSS now happening from in game, not just the loading screen. And this randomizer error not going away after randoming your game

the fake files aren't keeping up with any bug fixes as well. If the Giovanni crash is a good example. Fixed for us if you update and use update man. Fake files the fix doesn't work.

Just make sure you move that graphics folder to your infinite fusion folder. A lot of people have moved this folder inside of their existing graphics folder, and it just created a dupe for them.

Hey @split whale! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Sprites you dont "NEED" to have. It is mostly if you have performance issues or you want to play offline

So I tried to fix my lag problem by downloading the new sprites, replacing the old ones and trying the preload launcher instead of the GAME one and now the preload just sits on a black screen not even booting up the green frame of a garchomp fusion or the animation of gengar and nidorino what should I do?

yeah depending on your computer, it is going to take a bit to process all the sprites if you used the UpdatesSprites.zip

it is over 300k sprites

at first it said 74k then it closed itself 2 and the number went down each time 65k and then 61k and it finished on the 61k

yes it force closed itself twice while doing the spirtes so I reopened it and the number of sprites it said it needed to download became less untill it finished after a second crash and it said it just had 61k left to download

I assumed the first time was from me accidently opening the game twice, the second time I didnt know but it worked after I opened it after the second crash

I am also currently deleting a older version of the game I had could that be messing with the preload?

cause the normal game launcher works fine but its still lagy

I know you spent a lot of time downloading/extracting but idk how to fix your issue, BUT I do have the complete game files + sprites already loaded you can download that 100% work. Click link -> #tech-support message

All you do is download, and extract. open and play the game from this folder, not your existing one

you don't move anything in/out of it, it is setup ready to go

your save file isn't touched
