I checked the link, but it doesn't seem to have changed and I don't see how to check the version I have installed for a version number in the game folder. Is there a way to do that? Thanks

Hey @versed ermine! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Inside of that is a graphics folder. Put it in the main game folder. Merge it with the existing graphics folder. Replace all when the computer asks.

That will make the alternate launcher work. The alternate launcher will take longer to start, but it should run better while actually playing

Honestly just stop syncing onedrive, it will just continue breaking things.
Yesterday I couldn't play terraria because it failed to sync a config file for a mod.

Hello, i would like to report a constant problem I've been having
Every time i update the game and/or download new sprites from the Monthly pack from the server
A lot of sprites just turn blank and i have to go one by one in the Pokedex to fix them

I already tried Fixing the Game with the NPC from the Pokecenter

I already had to abandon 3 Save Files due to that

Sprites shouldn't be causing you to delete your save file. If you want to fix the sprites, you can go to the 3rd pinned message in this channel to download the sprites. Afterwards if you want to readd the monthly pack do it afterwards. I have a video on how to do this if you need help

Hey @ember saddle! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

It sounds like you might need to download the sprites from the 3rd pinned message in this channel and use it with the alt launcher. The alt launcher has better performance because it is using the sprites you have on your local computer instead of over the internet

Hello? I'm afraid I made a mistake! I tried to create a shortcut for Game.exe and I copy and pasted it to the Desktop then changed the icon to the pokeball one as it displayed a "default" icon, you know with a blank paper and a small icon on top of it. But when I changed the icon via "Open with..." it also applied the effect to other installed apps on the Desktop including some emulators too and now I can't revert them back! Please help I want to undo this effect!!!

Oh yeah it was named Game.ini so I moved that to the Desktop. Not sure if that helps? And as I mentioned I changed the icon of the .ini file to the .exe file which has effected other apps as well.

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Ooooo, thats..... not good if this isn't working properly. At the start of the game you're supposed to be able to talk to this plant to randomize your starters, etc. This keeps popping up. I hope I don't have to choose a starter BEFORE I can randomize my starter.

Hi, I'm fairly inept with technology hence why I'm asking this question. Is it possible to install and play this on a chromebook? For context I'm using a google pixelbook go and I have enabled chrome os developer mode (despite other app installers telling me I need to turn it on to install apps not from the google play store). Answer I found when searching discord: If it works at all, follow the android guide in the pins of ⁠tech-support. That's the closest thing to chromebook

Another possible answer for Chromebook:
you need a way to run a linux based windows emulator
then you'd need the linux/mac option from the mediafire link in ⁠downloads
after that you'd kind of be on your own as there is no guide for chromebook

Hey @half bramble! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Yes that is correct. It looks like you should be running the alt launcher instead of Game.exe due to your error. So you need to download the sprites in the 3rd pin to get the alt launcher to start working

If fusion sprites are missing you can try going into setting in game and turning Download Sprites off then exit the menu. Then go back in setting and turn it back on so it can try and download the sprites the next time you see the pokemon. If that doesn't help you can try downloading the sprites from the 3rd pin in this channel

When you do the installation, you should do this from your main drive and recommended on the desktop. Afterwards you can move the folder to your preferred folder

Thinking about it more, might be easier to have one batch file that uploads your save to the shared drive and one that Downloads from the shared drive. If you do it on a schedule like I suggested earlier, could be a scenario where you are playing on steam deck and it is time to get the save from the drive and it overrides your recent save since you never saved back to the shared location. Probably better to do it manual lol

I think it takes about 15-20 seconds for the screen to fade back to the overworld. Not a big issue, I know, but I still find it annoying and wanna sk if there is any way to speed the transition up.

The file is large, extracting the files does take some time. When you extract, you might have to just leave it alone and come back when it is done freezing, but it seems like your computer is the issue here. Extracting files is something basic a computer should be able to do

Fused Pokemon in the menu+PC are causing lag. Switching PC Boxes that are filled with fused Pokemon takes up to 25 seconds. It does not happen with Boxes filled with unfused ones. I tried Update Man. I've got 90 hours in the game now and this just started. Any suggestions?

Have you tried using the alt launcher? Using the alt launcher loads sprites from your local machine vs over the internet so it could help with performance. If you want to try the alt launcher, you need to download all sprites. They are attached in the 3rd pinned message of this discord. I have a video on how to move the sprites if you need also

I think I may of finally fixed it. After sitting on the (not responsive) screen for a bit it finally started the extraction, I had to free up space in order to it all to move over. Now the long process of waiting till it's done. Thank you

hi, i started playing yesterday, beat a random trainer in rock cave, then got this message and the game crashed. both the regular and alternate launcher whenever i boot it up crashes and the game is unplayable. is ther e anything i can do?

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

That's the only way to fix it atm though. It kinda has to work. Did you follow it step by step?

Cause you just need to unrandomize, close out of the debug guys and select yes to reshuffle

Then turn back on the randomizer

Quick Question [Am new, Just wanted to Start, Joined here for an Issue]

What option do i have to have the Game correctly detect my Controller?
Im using an USB Controller (in the Style of an old PS2 Controller) which works perfectly on other Games, Systems (such as Steam Big Picture Custom Controller Settings) and various other Tools, even online "test" sites for Controllers recognize it fully.

Yet this game in Particular is only able to Detect The Stick and the Shoulder Back Triggers, but NOTHING else, for the controller settings.
No Face Buttons, No Keypad, No LT/RT etc. I just cannot get it to recognize those.
(Again, it does recognize the LB/RB Shoulders and the Sticks just fine oddly enough)

Any tips?

Found my mistake, one file was in the 7z zip file format which I had to unzip again and now my laptop found everything on my local end

This is not really a bug, but just a really annoying thing. Whenever a battle ends and the screen fades out, it takes about 20 seconds for the screen to fade back in.
Any way to speed up the transition at the end of a battle?
Im playing on dynamic version, with internet on ofc
