The only way to update is to delete your game and reinstall. Your save will be untouched if you're currently on version 5.1 or higher.

To update in the future, you can run the installer again.

Hi pls help, I just downloaded the game and hit the INSTALL_OR_UPDATE windows batch file, but when I run the game its really slow in [Game] (entering or leaving houses takes 10 seconds) or [Alternate Launcher] crashes before I get to the title screen.

Essentially the issue is that because infinite fusion automatically locks itself to low FPS, Nvidia automatically tries to apply Gsync which somehow causes that screen flickering. But you can make specific exceptions for games or applications that it falsely recognizes as gsync compatable

Hi #tech-support I'm playing on PC on the most recent version. When I'm in the PC or the Pokemon menu I'm having issues when checking out the pokemons. Usually I check 2 or 3 pokemon and after that the game stops receiveing all my inputs for a long while and then shifts to the next pokemon. The music still plays so it's not lagging but it just takes a long while to process the inputs. I don't get why it's doing that. Having a bit of trouble, doing a randomizer in version 5.3.1.2, and despite the settings being set so that key items remain the same I didnt recieve the Surf HM from the hidden safari house, or the Strength HM from the person in Fuschia City, and while I havent done Silph or Saffron at all, I'm concerned that this will stop my progression when it comes to the point I need them. Is there anything I can do to fix this or get them without cheating or debugging?

I did a bit of googling just to be sure, and it seems Machamp can learn strength upon evolving, which is some work but is doable on randomized, but that still leaves Surf in a bit of an odd place until I can get the surfboard.

Hey @fallow olive! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

I have been playing normally thus far, but for some reason the game started lagging HARD. And I didn't do anything, it just started lagging. I talked to the update man and it's still happening

Just changing the PC box makes the game freeze for 4s or so, then drop to 16 fps

And that's happening with most things tbh. Every transition lingers for a good 4s
