Hey @scarlet anchor! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

I installed the 5.3.1 update (sorry if thats wrong, i just remember a 5 3 and 1), and like it said in the download thing, I extracted it, downloaded it, and from the new file, I moved the "Data" folder to the old file, and it asked me to replace the existing files because overlap of names, i said yes, and whenever i run the game, the intro plays, i can select a save, and then this pops up

Ok, I got around this by just running the exe that was newly downloaded, it looks like there is no need to patch the game by replacing the data folder in the old thing (correct me if im worng), the saves are all still here.

Im not at all qualified for this, but it seems that you need to extract the entire zip folder, since in the zip, theres 2 things, one is the thing you run, and anotehr folder thats "required by installer"

I am experiencing some issues with missing sprites. Quite often, I will see a big question mark instead of a fusion pokémon. One example is a nidorino and arbok fusion that I made, but I've also seen some main menu fusions resulting in a question mark.
I have downloaded the latest sprite pack and have enabled custom sprites, as well as allowing the app access through the firewall to the internet. Any ideas on how to fix this?

If that file isn't there, you need to extract the contents of Sprites.zip such that that file exists in that folder.

If that is a bit difficult to understand, I suggest getting some help from someone who is good with files and folders, or take some free YouTube courses about PC use to level up your computer skills until that makes more sense to you.

That's b/c the title screen picks a random one. And none of them are there.

You could see that by checking the referenced folder path+file but you just won't. You have to extract Sprites.zip so that file (for example) exists in the right spot

If you have INSTALL_OR_UPDATE in your game folder, run it. If you don't, delete your game and reinstall. Your save will be fine if it's 5.1 or higher. It's not stored in the same place as the game.

Probably because you downloaded the 2+ year old 4.9 version. Download the "Infinite Fusion.zip" file that's directly in #downloads (not any external site) to get the latest version of the game. Just delete the 4.9 files.

Hey @pure maple! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

You don't need the sprite pack anyway, unless you need to play offline
