Hey @wintry berry! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Make sure drivers are up to date. If you have a dedicated graphics card make sure that's being used and not what's integrated. Otherwise not much you can do

Just to clarify, the bug I fixed causes the error in this picture. The 'cannot find path specified' error that follows it is just a secondary consequence of something else going wrong. People will also get that error if they didn't extract the zip, etc.

I got the full sprite pack, I watched several videos about how to install the custom sprites, and know to extract the custom battlers folder to the graphics folder and overwrite everything, but in the full sprite pack, I also see a folder called "Other" What is that folder for? it looks like it has a bunch of stuff in there, where do I extract that/how would I use that/is that necessary?

Hey @supple flower! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey @umbral ravine! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

I've been trying to install the new packs but the game isn't taking them, I extract it to the custom battlers and all that but nothing is changing

The game is supposed to index them when you start it up, but currently it doesn't index sprites unless the corresponding folder (for the fusion's head) already exists within Graphics -> CustomBattlers -> Indexed
So you could make 420 folders yourself, just named from 1 to 420, or just wait until you encounter one of head of the pokemon as head fusions through normal gameplay (which is when the game creates those index folders).

But on that last note, there's no real reason to install the sprite pack, since the game works by automatically downloading sprites when you encounter each fusion during gameplay. 😛

The current version is required for the sprite download to work, since the server was just recently moved from github to gitlab

Your save is stored in a completely different place, so just do the regular installation process into a fresh, empty folder (don't try to do it in your current game folder). The save will be safe

1. Download "Infinite Fusion.zip" directly from #downloads
2. Extract the files
3. Run "install or update.bat"
4. All done 🙂

Edit: Fixed it during a bout of insomnia. I needed to turn off "faster path enumeration" in the Joiplay settings for the game then "optimize maps" and finally go to a new screen in game.

Hey @tough crescent! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
