hey everyone. I downloaded this a while back and made the mistake of downloading the dynamic version and cant find the UPDATE file. if I download the full preloaded one can it read my current save file?

Getting this error when trying to load the game, I believe that means a corrupted save file. From the pinned messages, that means I need to delete the corrupted file, right? Hey @keen galleon! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Okay resolved: Game.rxdata (the name of the save file) was located within my PCs own folders

It's fairly intensive

If ur close to running out of space on ur drive that can disrupt the save process

So that could be why ur save got corrupted

Move the folder to your C drive and run it there

If u don't download every sprite it's probably under 1GB

Ballpark 800MB or so

I'd make sure u have some extra space in the drive so that u don't cause issues with saving tho, so reserving 1GB for the whole thing seems more or less safe imo

I could be wrong tho, that 800MB estimate is based off of the playtest install

Maybe? The issue is basically that the installer wants to create some verification on its downloads but that's not smth u can do on external drives
Not sure whether the download sprites function is the same or not
At the very least, the installer/updater shouldn't be able to run unless u move it back to an internal drive

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.

I'm not familiar with OneDrive, but I think you'd open it and change the settings so it stops syncing the folder the game is in. For antivirus (if you have third-party antivirus) you want to add an exception and put the path to the game folder. Btw what is your full path to the game folder? C:\Users\.. what's the rest? (You can exclude your name)

I see the blue recycle icon at the top, that's OneDrive syncing stuff. Try extracting the zip again (incase it didn't extract properly to Program Files) and extract it to somewhere where there aren't the blue recycle icons, green checkmarks, or blue cloud icons. Maybe in your Downloads folder?

Follow the message to have all the sprites installed with the latest sprite pack, then run with the Alternate Launcher. That one takes longer to load at first and most have all spritews installed in the machine, but it smoother while playing.

I am not an expert, but from the text of the error it looks like you're missing a couple image files, you could try a fresh download of the game or just grab the graphics folder and copy paste it at least and see if that works

Hi, I was just trying to play the game for the first time, and since my keyboard has the left arrow key broken and the gamed showed a pop-up saying something about default controls/controller, I thought that maybe I could use a controller to play, but when I try to open the game with the controller plugged, it closes after like 5 seconds, and when I start the game and then plug the controller, it closes right there. So, is the game controller compatible? And if not, is there a way to remap the controls?

Every time the game is launched, a bright white screen says that there “aren’t enough local sprites” and asks to check the internet for more. I manually added the ability to run the install file with chmod. That did generate some files, but failed after a certain point with the error.

Waiting to finish yours, seems the guy I got the install file is making one that works better without my workaround. The reason I said mine might not work. I had an error with the library files, but my game did run. Though my deck has a lot of extra software that might be causing it to run without the library installs. If you want I can still use my method before he finishes looking into a repacked script.

Ok then, so for my workaround. You want to next right click the instal.sh file. go to properties and check the spot saying it is executable. Then right click it and open in konsole. It should lag out a bit, then it will add a bunch of files and a folder. The game is in the folder.

From there you can right click game.exe. Hit add to steam. Then from steam click the gear then properties. Go to compatibility, and run with Proton 8.0. From what I can tell, this is NOT the best method, but its functional. (At least for really early in. I didnt have time to play past picking a starter). It allowed me to run it as though its a windows game.

All it really does is bypass the installer so it will work on your pc just fine

Ensure you are connected to the internet and toggle the download sprites option off and on
(send an affected mon into battle to reload the sprite)
