Anytime I used fire and grass pledge together in a double battle it made it so when one of my pokemon fainted, that slot just didn't have a pokemon in it so I only had one pokemon out at once. In a different battle I forgot to screenshot, after using both pledges the opponent just didn't send out his third pokemon and the battle was just me vs nothing and it only ended when I forfeited.

Apparently there are no patches to install.
And the installer is different than when I first installed it forever ago.
I'm trying the "linux" download and install option but it seems a mess?
The bash file can't find directories and files and of course has permission issues.
And the files it can't find but I can is for some reason named differently.

How do I go about a full install of the latest version on linux?
I don't want to have to go about installing it on a windows first and then just move all the files over.

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

I think the main issue here is reversed mode, the Pokemon ur about to fight is being recognized as a fusion and the game is trying to swap its head with its body

But there is no "reverse" of this fusion, so the game just breaks

Essentially u need to install a new version of the game to a separate folder and then run that version

Choosing Modern mode changes some of the data files and there's no option to change them back, so we need to use a fresh install

The idea is to run the fight in the new install, then u can return to ur first install to continue playing the rest of the game

Even if the fusion doesn't have a custom sprite it should be downloading the autogenerated sprite as well

Ok, this seems correct, which means that ur save data is either corrupted or incompatible. If u remove it from the folder, i.e. by deleting it, ur game should be able to start. U won't be able to use this save anymore tho

Hey @late slate! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @mighty ledge! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

That is the outcome I more or less expected. I believe the game needs the indexed folders in order to index existing sprites when u boot, but the default install of the game doesn't come with a CustomBattlers folder, let alone a complete indexed folder. Each indexed folder is meant to be constructed when the game downloads a sprite for that Pokemon
